Why did they change the crossbow from the prototype? I don't recall anyone lobbying for that. Certainly not me.

I have a question for anyone who has these in hand. Is Horde Primes armor as annoying as the Facelessones? The way his is always sliding off when you try to move him.
Looking for a reasonable price for Fangman and maybe king He-man and Strobo.

It's very similar, but I don't find either of them annoying...

I noticed that all the characters with capes are pretty awesome

    - King Grayskull
    - Lord Carnivus
    - Faceless One
    - Scare Glow
    - Randor
    - Count Marzo
    - He-Ro
    - Hordak

    and now Horde Prime!

His armor doesn't slide off, but always floating. It's a bit different.

I didnt notice all the details on his armour like that. Even the floppy mace has some. Really glad I got a few of him.

So...in every picture I see of Horde Prime, the chest symbol is crooked. Is that because it's warped? I hope it's not assembled wrong.

This month was the month I have waited for since I saw the Griffin. I've wanted a figure of the beast since they first appeared and it is so solid! Can't wait to put my three on display!

HP is sweet but his red teeth really bother me. Unless he is constantly drinking red drink it's pretty lame they're monotone.

Overall my favorite month so far this year!!!

It's a floating symbol, always moving with the cape.

Does anyone know if you can pop off the Griffins feet and reverse them so the eagle feet are in the front. I know MYP had them in the back, but I think this figure might look better with them forward. I don't have the Griffin yet... maybe in a week, but I think he is my favorite beast in the line, the paint job looks stunning, and the wing design is 800% better than what we saw originally!

I'm really liking the pictuers of SMAA. In fact, I am going to put the non-mustache head on the first release and the mustache head on this one and have it as him at two different ages. He assissted Oo-Lar when he was young and now helps Adam when he is older.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

Same. I now have (or will if my package ever arrives from my sub) a vintage and 200X MAA - that snake head is going into the parts bin never to be seen again.

I love smaa but I wish the belt was all blue with blue highlights...i find that one redish orange circle thing on his belt annoying...i'm probably gonna paint it blue. I didn't mind the original maa with it cause it was an 8 back color scheme but I think its gross for this figure
    My needs:

    Motuc red zodac gun
    Horde Primes Red mystery head

I'm glad other people are loving SMAA, but I'm still not won over. I prefer the original MAA with non-moustached head... it's my "ultimate" version of this character- and seeing him side by side with SMAA cements that. There are also color differences that make me dislike SMAA- on the original there's a darker green with a nice wash that helps highlight the muscles which I think looks great. And the more "mac & cheese" orange of the original's armor looks better to me than the lighter yellow with the gold rivet highlights. SMAA will be the first figure that I've "dismissed" as a junk character and chosen not to display with the others- the snake head is going in the parts bin and so is all of the removable armor. Instead, I am going to use the SMAA buck for my "Palace Guard Spector"- using the Spector guard head with Palace Guard armor with the eagle armor plate showing. I will arm him with Whiplash's alternate 2002 weapon (a great choice since SMAA does sport that "open" Man-E-Faces/Optikk hand which can hold that Whiplash weapon). This will visually help set Spector somewhere in the middle of MAA & the Palace Guards. So yeah- parts-wise I'm finding use for SMAA but not being a 2002 series enthusiast that needs those versions of the characters I'm just not as thrilled about his inclusion in the line as other folks.
