So which Superman figure will fit in with the MOTUC line?

....with the new MOTUC line. I never collected any new figures except Motu. So what Superman will fit in. I'm sure there not gonna make a Supes figure so I'd like to have one anyway. So those that do collect both series what Supes would you say fits in. Height wise and all.

I won't be mixing lines with MotUC... But if I were a guessin' man, I'd say the Alex Ross Justice Superman might sorta fit in height and width wise with the MotUCs.

There's a new "classic" Superman coming in Wave 6 of DCUC.

It was a longhaired version I saw a pic of though, and I don't know if there's a shorthaired version, but the DCUC figures are 6" tall.

Width-wise as Baena mentions, the DCUC are skinnier than MOTUC.

Well, The Classic Superman figure was released a while back. He is the short haired version. But the costume is dark in color. I'm hoping the new long haired version isn't more truer in color. Plus the face is much nicer. Plus I think the MOTU CLassics and the DCUC figures are in the same scale.

I really like this one from DC Direct. (the pics on this page are a little blown out.)

The Alex Ross Justice, Dark Knight Returns and New Frontier figures are all really great, but the classic one probably fits better with the MOTUC style.

Judging by the photos Brad2dbone put up, I’m going to say the Alex Ross Justice Superman would be my first choice.

    DCUC Superman all the way.

since they're made by the same company, have the same articulation.

and aren't based on one of Alex Ross's paintings.

Yeah, in the DC Superheroes line I think? That one was sculpted by the 4H, so I'd think he'd be the perfect one to re-enact DC Comics Presents #47: "From Eternia with DEATH!".

I was actually looking to pic up one of those Superman figures, but never got around to it. Now that the MotU Classics toys are coming out, I'll totally have to so I can have Superman & He-Man fight. Nice.

The figure to Kg's left looks like the best fit.

What is real name and where could I find him for a reasonable price or trade?

Is that the Reactivated series 1 superman?

If you're talking about this one:

That's the Alex Ross "Justice" Superman by DC Direct. I got him a year or two ago at a comic book store. It's unlikely that he's still available at any of those though, so I'd try eBay, or your favorite on-line toy-retailer.

That is the DCU Superman figure by Mattel that was done by the Four Horsemen.

From your first pictures I though Grayskull a bit bigger. Guess the regular DCU Superman would be a better choice after all, followed closely by the regular modern DCD Supes.

Thanks again for the pix, man. You are the King of King Grayskull photography!

Justice League Mattel, Superman Returns (Clark to Superman?) Mattel, DCD Superman/Batman Series one (maybe the version sold at book stores), Mattel DCU original, DCD original modern era/reactivated, Alex Ross Justice DCD.

    Will that do?

I hope this helps. Both lines are the same scale. They just changed names.

That DCUC Superman will fit fine with MotUC. You have to keep in mind that KG is a little bigger than the rest of the line will be.

you think? his head looks SO small though in comparison... i'm thinking the supers to the left of him in the pic fits better.

KG does have a big head, but a lot of it is his hair. The Superman to his left will probably be taller than He-man, and his face has details that the MotUC stuff won't have. It has wrinkles and stuff to make it look like an Alex Ross painting. Plus the plastic DCD uses is a lot different than Mattel's plastic. It's softer and more flexible.

The DCUC Superman is similar in style to KG, because he was sculpted by the 4h, and his articulation is almost the same.

I meant the superman to the left of the superman that is circled... the viewers left... the shiny one with the more stylized scult and big theighs.
