Vykron is late July? I thought the figures went on sale the first week of August. If that is the case, I won't have any money to buy Vykron at all.

SDCC is earlier in the month of July than usual, so it makes sense that the sale date on Matty got bumped up as well.

1.They'll be the post SDCC sale items
2.There will also be the 2013 Sub sale
3.The August Figures are right behind this.

So looks can be deceiving....

Don't they normally have a big SDCC sale where they offer a bunch of figures to help promote the various subscriptions?
I remember there were lots of figures available on Matty while SDCC was happening... Not the SDCC exclusives of course

The Matty SDCC sale is on Monday, July 23rd. This info can be found on Vykron's (as well as Dana as Zuul and Bruce Wayne to Batman) item pages on Matty.

Actually pretty smart to have a light month with SDCC so close behind. I notice the low run, supoosed-to-be-gold-plated JLU 3-pack listed; anyone heard how much that one is going to be (I recall $50 bicks being batted around a while ago, but nothing official).

Love the Red Rocket glitch (unless somebody really goofed and that IS what the figure is being called), especially the connotation for fans of South Park.

Beginning to despair we will never have a proper Teela re-issue ... and I need 2 more of her!!! I so want to give Mattel my money instead of the E-way.

If Teela is released again it will be leftovers, no more figures are supposedly at this time ever going to be rerun....so we have what we have.

She's been on sale twice on Matty since last November....that is where I got her when she was on sale for $18 at the Black Friday sale, and the other was in March this year, maybe they have more, and she'll pop up again....

I will get definitely buy an extra Spikor outside my sub. I already bought my SDCC Vykron figure on ebay. I really just want the Barbarian pack out to display MOC. I do wish they decide to put some reissues up for sale. And yes another $40 for 2013 sub...but it might be more than that w/ price increases. Very excited for the SDCC reveals and extras as well. Aren't we all?

Now, there they are.....but they are not the 16th sale items....it's another sale that starts on the 2nd, and go all month.

I can deal with that, at least I can get a Sy-Klone should I choose.

At first I was relieved that July seemed like an affordable month with only one MOTUC figure on sale, so I sighed "at last" after having endured a seemingly neverending chain of one very expensive month after another. I'm playing catch-up, so with day-of figures, re-released figures and Mad Matty March madness, it's been around 40 figures purchased on MattyCollector during the past four months—not counting over half a dozen additional MOTUCs I've gotten from evil-Bay (including a $100 MOC Shadow Weaver). But then, oh well, shoot-me-now-and-bury-my-carcass-in-downtown-Santa-Clara, people pointed out that the single-figure sale was merely due to there being additional SDCC-related sales during July. So it now looks like a superexpensive month for me!

From regular Day-Of sale:

- Spikor ($27) x1 or x2

From SDCC-at-Matty sale:

- Vykron (~$45) x3
- Ghostbusters Zuul-Dana (~$35) x2 or x1

From SDCC's Most-Wanted sale:

- Vikor ($27) x1 or x2

I'm seriously gonna need a few quiet Matty months to recover from such a blitz of finances-nuking months... but, alas, it looks like what is coming afterwards is even worse (almost every upcoming month will be multi-figure, plus an unknown amount of additional re-releases, plus a weapons pack, plus around-$100 Granamyr, plus another unknown beast to crown it all).
