I still can't bring myself to bite......

Still debating on if I want a BP she-ra or not. I think I really only need a TRU version since that is how I want to display her but is it worth it to get one anyway then hunt down the head/weapons/cape?

I have to say, she's a really nice figure. The boits and gauntlets are FAR superior to 1.0, and they made the armor look really cool. The sword and shield are also quite nice.

I think she's more than worth it as a variant alone.

This kinda sucks for people who have limited time (and are currently at work) and made plans to be available at NOON (EST, as announced) to participate. It seems unlikely I'll be able to just randomly refresh the order page every few minutes until whenever they decide to start the sale.

Has anyone asked Matty or posted on the Matty site to make sure the sale stuff won't suddenly vanish the moment the items for the 15th or the SDCC sale are put up? That's happened by "mistake" in the past, basically leaving folks who planned to combine shipping on sales day out of luck.

Be nice if we could pin them down on a definite answer in case history repeats itself.

The way the sale description reads is that the items will be until 7/31 @ 11:59pm. I wanted to wait to buy more Wind Raiders but I was worried they would be gone by the 15th.

Yep, and I need to look in to that. I've never been charged before and I find it SUPER odd that all of a sudden in "July" they start charging it. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one from another state as well.

There certainly wasn't a new law that was passed recently to collect it via the Internet and I'm pretty sure they haven't set up residence all of a sudden in our states either...

Unless I'm missing some thing it smells fishy and quite possibly highly illegal at the same time........


What's also interesting is what's going to happen to the subs. as well that have already been factored in by people for certain $ amounts? We're going to have this tax now too all of a sudden?

Prepare for massive problems, cancellations and complaints and over-all less buying in general if this is legit and going to affect every one in every state from this day forward.

Well now I feel better knowing someone else is pretty upset by the mysterious tax. They charged me 7% on my purchase plus shipping. It does go against everything I have ever read regarding internet purchases.
