I agree that this alone hardly means much BUT it is a great step in the right direction. We get a few more of these, get more comics than initially announced, and all of a sudden we're talking about some of this other stuff being a much greater possibility than before.

    Reminder to self!

Awesome that you thought to promote the comic.

Do you think DC employees are buying Justice League to keep MOTU from staying in the #1 spot for too long.

Oh, I don't know about that. I did promote the comic though! At the end, I did a quick montage of ALL my MOTU books, comics, etc. and I *think* I did the Sir Laser Lot comic as the last one. I hope my video gets picked! It's fun, has some good stories and people will probably take a certain screen-cap to post here and make fun of me for!

Having this come out as a 99-cent digital release prior to the main book was a really good idea because a lot of people who might have otherwise ignored it probably said, "Eh, it's only 99-cents, I'll check it out." Hopefully they're hooked and will continue with the series. I wonder if it would have received the same amount of attention at regular price and sitting at a comic stand.

Do you folks think "The Seeker" will be able to top the #23 overall opening for SLL's comic?

It'll be fun to see! The competition will be more stiff on a release day full of other comic releases though.

    At #37 at the moment.

A couple things to remember - the other comic was digital only and $.99. Some people will skip the digital version of this just to get the print version. Also, it was a major US holiday so a lot of people were probably busy with other stuff. PLUS, there was more competition with all the other new comics that came out Wednesday.

Also, a few other things to consider. A TON of the comics in the top listings are $.99. If you take those away...

    It's #14

I read a lot of comics and thesr 2 issues have both been better than a lot of what DC has done lately. I just wish the Ultimate Battlegrounds were played out in this style instead of being crammed into mini-comics.
