Yeah. It got a bit too cheesy at parts. Great songs and orchestrations, great performances (some), some great acting - by the obvious (especially Tom Cruise!). But I kept feeling like it lacked. Should have been a bit more badass. I never saw the Broadway show. But the cast recording sounds much more badass than the film turned out.
But I'd buy the DVD. It gets a 'B-' from me.
Finally I've found that I belong here.
I liked the movie. I had a great time watching it. Will be getting the DVD.
