Bummer....I wish Mekaneck had his vac metal on the goggles. Still excited for him.

I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

Not necessarily. They did the vac on Thunder Punch He-man. Maybe it just wouldn't work cost-wise and they thought it wasn't important. I would have liked vac metal goggles too, but I'm not sure it means nothing else will have it. I'm always a bit torn about it. I love the way it looked on TP He-man. And I'd really like it on Entraptra though... I think.![]()
Wait, you mean those ARE Mekaneck's goggles? They look like someone jammed solid triangles into his face. How are those goggles?
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

What no Vac on Meks goggles? Bummer![]()

PlanetEternia.de's latest Q&A:
1) If the MotU Classics line manages to last until 2017, would all characters that were available as actionfigures in the previous lines (MotU vintage, PoP, NA) have been released by then? Or are there any characters from those lines who ain't planned at all in the long run?
Logistical and other issues can change release order so we don't have an exact date when ALL the vintage figs will be done in Classics, but we hope to get to this goal in time.
2) Why does the new Masters series from DC Comics follow its own continuity instead of playing within the MotU Classics canon?
To allow DC writers the creative freedom to tell their own stories in the MOTU world and reinforce that there is no one cannon.
3) Is Mattel concerned that an oversupply of product might result in less customers subscribing for 2013 due to figures being available for lower prices on the secondary market and Mattel re-offering product? There are fans who fear that this might jeopardize the necessary limited amount of subscriptions necessary to keep the line going well.
This is something we are always looking into and it is one reason no figure in 2012 and beyond will go into a second run.
4) It seems like ages since we heard anything about a new Master movie. Do you have anything to share in terms of its development?
It is currently with Sony for development. No new news right now.
5) A lot of vintage MotU figures nowadays have stains as a result from the plastic used 20-30 years ago. Now those toys were not produced as collectors items. But did you ensure to use materials for the MotU Classics that won't experience similar constrictions in upcoming years?
We do age test all of our product but there is no way to know for sure as each customer has a different experience with there toys. The harder you play with them, the less likley they will last forever. Hey, we were all kids once right?!
"Why's Dragstor riding on Night Stalker?" "Cause he can."
I still want Randor's vintage spear to come with a Randor variant for those of us who didn't get the weapons pack.

Eyagh! Why? Don't make a weapon in vac metal! Geeze man, was this question even asked by a toy collector? How could that ever be a good idea? Don't put vac metal on something that'll be shoved into a hand over and over! Especially with MotUC hands...yeesh.Is there a chance we could get one in vac metal or even die cast, if the time for a Randor variant has come?

The sword that came with Castle Grayskull (200X) never seemed to have any problems for me. I guess the blade could just be vac and the hilt non-vac?
Total side note, but it just came to me; why, with all this mentioning about this time period, does it seem we're going to get a King He-Man unveiling at the upcoming SDCC? Just a total shot-in-the-dark, but I'm starting to *really* get the idea that this is one figure we're going to see sooner-than-later.
Also, this "totally new" line from Mattel? It could well be the Wrestling line... but what if it's a future MOTU continuation of all-new figures? We'd always get the "classics" in MOTUC, but perhaps the future line of King He-Man is coming.
Total conjecture, but they're really pushing this whole idea. Don't know if I can't say I don't like it! Move the story-line forward! If that means killing some characters to make room for new ones, so be it!
Well it could be just me, but I never shoved that blade too far into anyone's hands. I could, but I didn't want to risk chipping the vac. The hands on MotuC figures are TIGHT. You gotta snap in each weapon - or at least I have to. That, or you slide the weapon into the hand, like the spear. Either way I'm already having nightmares about what that would do to a vac metal spear. Maybe if they just did the blade, sure, but not to the whole thing. As it is the black on Skeletor's sword handle is almost completely rubbed off, and the gold Randor spear from the weapon's pack has a few smears (tiny, though) of paint on it from snapping it into the hands or sliding it in.
I could totally go for blades, but not handles.

Sounds to me like the "next generation" storyline is going to find the son of Skeletor/Evil-Lyn at odds with the son of King He-Man/Queen Teela.Originally Posted by Jmidor

Actually, the only figures that experienced problems were those that used red, softer plastic around the time of the Secret Wars figures like Roboto's legs (and Daredevil from Secret Wars, which means the plastic used at that time was a problem across lines). I don't think I've heard of Randor having such problems with his arms. I haven't seen far ranging reports of major discoloration and degeneration outside of a a handful of figures from the original line (as compared to the new line, where figures a few months old are already degenerating). Frankly, I'd be all for going back and using the 20+ year old plastic, as it seems far better than what we've got now.

Only one of anybody.
It could also be the other way around - Duncan upgraded his royal guard armor when he became MAA.
I haven't read the mini- or digital comic so I don't know if it explains SLL's travel explicitly, but maybe that was Spector's plan, but since he spent so much time with SLL in Preternia (based on the pics I've seen), TMS friended SLL and took the risk to bring him to the future? Or there was a magixplosion near them and Spector decided it was better to get both of them to the future than to let his comrade die?

Um…what changed between MVC doing their fantastic comic and DC? Mattel was INSANELY protective of what could and couldn't go on in the comic when Val and the gang held the comic license…
200X fan? Classic fan? What does that mean? I'm a MotU fan!!!
May be I've been mistaken a bit, I tried to be ironic.
I meant that is quite unlogic to see MAAs outfit as a unique and personal thing. Its true that when he was released as a toy that was his style but then, with teh introduction to filmation and the born of royal guards (with the same outfit) it kinda changes. Especially because mattel do release royal guards with the filmation and mAAs outfit in the classics line...so i was asking, If that is his personal look, the royal guards are gonna change it after clamp champs arrives?![]()
I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that in 200X they were launching a huge mainstream media push versus this which is going toward a niche market. Also, maybe they learned something in the intervening ten years. That's what I hope. Even though not all the designs are my favorites, I'd love if story-wise they can just take it wherever they want to make it fresh.

Sigh, once again more scary creative developments have been published.
So, Battle Cat and Battle Lion can look similar. Heck, even He-Man and Grayskull look similar; as did the Sorceresses in Filmation. Even an explanation is now given as to why Zodac/k have the same armor, yet Duncan is the only MAA to wear an outfit similar to the royal guards? It doesn't make sense. It should be an all-or-nothing deal.
IMO it's ok that each MAA wears his own thing, but it then takes away from Duncan because he's just a royal guard with a moustache now. Also, both Spector and MAA initially wore the royal guard armor, but Spector was upgraded to a special vortex suit while MAA retained his guard armor??!! Now MAA has been made into a nothing character before turning him into a snake man and then killing him.
Even the whole concept of Zodak wearing some other warrior’s armor is ridiculous. It makes is sound like anyone can pop down to a K-mart and pick up some cosmic enforcer armor.
I can't believe that I would ever say this but I don't want any more mini comics.
I'm still not getting why Man-at-arms couldn't be saved. If he was killed then there'd be no paradox issue since saving him would alter the future and any documentation of him. A better explanation would be that during the King He-man era, time travelers can establish which events are pivotal in changing the outcome of the future drastically and that saving MMA would result in the Snakemen or the Horde taking over Eternia or the universe. And that from a certain point, Sir Laser Lot no longer contributed to the Masters victory so it was "safe" to summon him to the future.
