This is great! More exposure for MOTUC. And yes, WWE is a lot cleaner now than before. So this feature may spark some old MOTU fans back to the fold.

While I think the WWE figures by Mattel are scrawny looking, I'd still be happy with a WWE vs MOTUC line at TRU. WWE has a lot more visibility than DC Comics.

For me personally, I got into WWF shortly after the vintage MOTU line ended. Wrestling was a good replacement for the muscle bound characters in MOTU.

Looking back, the now defunct WWE Classic Superstars line by Jakks was great, and probably paved the way for MOTUC in some respects. Both lines have similar builds. Actually, WWE Jakks figures fit in well with MOTUC. I just wish Mattel had done better when they got the line.

I'm all for cross-promotion, but like many others am not a fan of the WWE. If they've cleaned things up in recent years then that's great to hear, but I also hope they've started taking better care of their stars instead of just seeing them as money makers and not caring what ends up happening to them.

I just had this idea last week & went on to buy a WWE Flex Force RAW Ring for this ! Infact I’ve already made a photo shoot of the very first match, & guess what, the match card reads.... Mighty Spector Vs Mighty Spector !! :hmlol: :sklol: Well, it’s quite similar to the Undertaker Vs Undertaker match (Summer Slam 1994 I think). And, with a little bit of interference from BG Teela as well !! :sklol: Oh well..... It was firkin fun I’ll tell ya. I’ll post the pictures very soon !!

The current WWE is aimed more at late elementary school aged boys. It has really been cleaned up from the earlier attitude era. It is about on the same level as Pokemon (or Filmation He Man) as far as trash TV.

This comment seems more of a chance to slight the Filmation cartoon than anything else. I do have to say that i had the unfortunate displeasure to give a running commentary on Wrestlemania this year, and its actually gotten worse than the Attitude era. Now its non stop bimbos, no wrestling, and lots a talking on a mic. No, I am afraid it is infinitely more trashy than any Program Length Commercial. Now, if this was early 90's wrestling, I would probably be all for it. But the WWE? Now? Do Not Want!

If it gives us some mini-comic repaint variants like the TRU MOTUC figures, then I'm game! It could be a good idea if wrestlers are always wearing different colors.

Why would MOTU want to be seen along side a company that didn't stop being relevant 30 years ago and actually has the fan base to support a retail toyline and numerous television programs?

I'd definitely be down for some WWE VS MOTUC 2-packs. I think it would be a lot of fun, especially if they pair the characters correctly. We had a lot of fun on RGD talking about MOTU being used in wrestling. If I was a kid and watching wrestling back then, I would have flipped to see some of my favorite MOTU characters in the ring.

Castle Grayskull entrance at Wrestlemania, the iron cross on his trunks and just the overall look of his physique and hairstyle all evoke the spirit of He-Man to me. In fact it's clear now that he's just been indulging his MOTU fantasies this whole time

I'm going to grab my son's WWE figures and play out a PPV.

And there are the cheat moves too! Like Skeletor pulling a vial of acid out of his shorts or Kobra Khan spitting mist in your eyes. Beast Man summons outside interference using Shadow Beasts and Griffins! Tallstar and Extendar are next to impossible to pin because they can always reach the ropes!

How is the scale on the Matty wrestlers? Are they bigger like MOTUC or smaller like DCUC?

For me it's the opposite.....I'd rather have WWE vs. MOTUC figures cause it's easier to sell off the WWE figures I don't want....or I can give them to my brother who collects only WWE. There are ALOT of current wrestling fans that eat this stuff up so I think it would be a win all the way around. When it came to DCUC vs. MOTUC I bought Stratos off ebay cause I wanted him and our TRU has him, but I have no use for Hawkman. If Stratos had been packed with say Evan "Air" Bourn it would have been a done deal. Or a John Cena vs. Tri klops..........win!

As for the hators. and the "i don't get it people". calm down. You have to get wrestling. it's no different then opening your mind up to a movie or movie genre, d&d, WOW, minecraft, a certain sport or even comics. Wrestling now a days it's about having clean wholesome fun with a bit of drama sprinkled on to physical combat. Male sope opra. You have to allow yourself to be a part of their wold.

Masters of the universe meets WWE. Life doesn't get much better than this. No sarcasm.

I call the first picture The voice of the WWE meets the stench of the Masters universe.

What's next? John Cena and Tri-Klops? or The Rock meets Stondar and Rokkon? Tytus meets the Big Show? King Randor meets Jerry "the king" Lawler?

I already use MOTUC in the Real Scale Ring, given how close the attire for both products is. So this is nothing but win for me. Mark Henry vs. eventual Ram Man please. Flipshot (Icarius) vs. Evan Bourne. Sin Cara vs. Preternian He-Man. CM Punk vs. Kronis.

I think this is a fun event and will be beneficial for both brands. However, I am uncertain about a VS series like the DCUC ones. I personally am not interested in that, but I really liked the DCUC ones. We'll just have to wait 3 days to see what this new mystery line is.
