The He-Man.Org Power Party returns to SDCC this summer!

What?

Private Access for He-Man.Org users only:

speakeasy (accessible to He-Man.Org users from street entrance)
finger foods available starting at 8pm
karaoke starting at 9pm
drink specials include:
- 1.00 off well-brand mixed drinks
- 1.00 off 14oz draft beers
- 2.00 off 23oz draft beers
- 3.00 Coors Light draft beers
- 3.00 bottles of Dos Equis

Last year was amazing. But it was so packed that some fans couldn't get in to the bar! So we're returning to our roots and bringing it back to the fans! The bar is offering drink specials only available to He-Man.Org fans and we'll be breaking out the karaoke as we get further into the evening. As long as you are a registered member of He-Man.Org, you get free access to this event! And if you have any trouble registering with your current e-mail address, please see this page for additional registration options.

Come hang out with fellow fans, including Pixel Dan Eardley, Val Staples, Danielle Gelehrter and Eamon O'Donoghue from Roast Gooble Dinner, as well as a number of creators from comics, toys and more!

You can enjoy a few snacks or order a meal from the Hennessey's menu (they have some great food, so check out their menu), as well as enjoy drinks! Plus, no doubt many of the special guests who will attend the show will be relaxing in the speakeasy right along with you. So you don't want to miss out!

If you've attended previous years and know how hot it can get at times, you'll be happy to hear the speakeasy now has new and improved A/C for your comfort.

Please note the finger foods are there as snacks for the entire crowd, not there as your meal. So if you are really hungry and/or haven't eaten a meal before attending, please be sure to order off the menu!

You are allowed one guest, and that guest must be a partner, wife, husband or someone with whom you have a serious relationship.

If you plan to attend, please send me a PM with your first & last name, the first & last name of your guest if you have one, and any other information I may need in order to add you to the guest list.

Sounds Fun! Been attending SDCC every year since moving to L.A. for college (late 90s) but have never attended the SDCC Power Party. Going to change that this year!

The girlfriend and I will probably head over to the party right after the usual SDCC Friday night Bruce Timm DC Animated Universe movie premier.

Oh we did, along with Aladdin, Duck Tales, and Gummi Bears.

Sadly it was the She-ra theme we screwed up the most.

I've seen a few cartoon themes available (Anamaniacs and Fat Albert come to mind). Never seen things like say Turtles or anything, but there are often 80s tv themes like Who's The Boss, Saved by the Bell, Full House, Family Matters...
