Anyone who has gotten the server error, has it eventually gone through for you, or does the server error always come up?

I got my vote in.

You have to press the vote button at the bottom of the page with all the character profiles in order to get to the page that has the actual selections.

I finally voted. Try using IE instead of Chrome or some other browser. I used IE instead of Chrome and it worked instantly.

I was able to finally vote late last night after initially getting the server error. It was really frustrating though.

Took me about eight times or better to get it to go through, but I voted.

Since Trap Jaw is the pre selected vote when you finally get to the selections I wonder if he'll get bunches of votes by mistakes, people clicking just to try to get it to load up and BAM they voted for Trap Jaw!

ok, so I follow the link in the confirmation email. I enter the serial number form the 'Thank you' site (which I believe is the voting code as the email does not containt any voting code). I press Go! and I get a SERVER ERROR!

Got my vote in for Illumina. I figure that all others are easy enough for Mattel to make without needing to win the fan selection. I really wish though there was some way of seeing the current totals. Just feels like it's the Mattel choice when no one can see the actual numbers, even just give us a percentage as I know they don't want to reveal sales numbers.

This is what I did.

I went to the matty site, went to customer service, order history, found the 2013 subscription order, did the download, clicked the link in the PDF, went back to the 2013 order page, copied the serial number into the new page.

wow.

I think I had to fight a Minotaur in there somewhere too.

I've been trying to vote since Saturday on two different computers. All I've gotten are error messages and invalid code messages. Today, I finally got past the first page and I get a message saying "Sorry, you've exceeded the maximum number of download attempts."

So after buying two subs, I didn't get to vote on anything. NOT ONE LOUSY THING. Way to go DR and Mattel.

**UPDATE** After trying several suggestions by members here, none of which worked, taking some headache medicine, various fits of rage, some cursing, and eventually going back and trying it again, it somehow miraculously worked.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need a stiff drink.

Guys. Honestly... After the repeated and recurrent blunders and broken promises from DR and Matty during the past 4 years, if you still believe that those people can do something right, well, you must be either delusional or insane !

I guess we'll just need to wait that the computer team at DR's - if there has ever been such a thing - tries to fix the problem, and that Mattel's legal department approves the whole process first. If you can vote by Christmas 2012, you'll be extremely lucky !

Skeletortilla, this may be helpful to you. If you're having trouble downloading the PDF, don't worry The PDF doesn't do anything. There is absolutely no information on the PDF that helps you vote.

The confirmation page from your order says "The code to vote will be in your email" and then provides a link to a PDF
The PDF says nothing except "The code to vote will be in your email" so no new info there.
The code to vote is not actually in your email despite being told that twice.

Your confirmation page from Matty will actually have the code in it.

The code on the confirmation page will likely cause a few database errors when you enter it, but just keep trying back every few hours and it will work.

So, in summary The PDF does absolutely nothing, you can vote without it.
