Fantastic as usual. One suggestion though, I think painting the Horde symbol red would really make it pop.

So awesome....I just watched the 200x episode with him in it the other day and thought: i need that BLACKSTAR LAVA FIGURE to make a vintage style of him.

I considered this, only reason I left it grey was due to his cartoon appearance.

Thanks, I wasnt originally going to include an accessory, (pretty sure this guy wouldnt need a weapon in combat) but thought it would be cool if he had a stone Horde crossbow.

He is, not quite as much as the base Hulk figure, but he still has all of his original articulation.

wow! this is mind-blowing.

I was a kinda mad at that episode, one of the coolest Horde characters I had ever seen, killed almost as quick as he appeared. In my opinion, Calix could probably take any given member of the Horde, save Hordak. For instance:
Grizzlor: Claws vs. rock.
Leech: You cant suck blood out of a stone.
Mantenna: Wow, you see me. Squish.
Mosquitor: Doubt his stinger could pierce rock.
Modulok: Hmmm. Squish.
Dragstor: Maybe, just maybe, Dragstor could knock Calix on his ass leaving him vulnerable to attack.
Multi-Bot: Not really sure.
Catra...
Shadow Weaver: She could probably do the job, as long as he didn't smash her first.

Your work continues to impress. If you were a retailer, I would be a monthly customer. As always, your work is art. This appears like is actually rock-based because of the excellent technique used. Your have perfected your craft.

..... usually I really like your works ! But the Calix looks too much like the Hulk .... for me not your best work

The body is really cool, but the face is Too-Hulk-like for my tastes... Maybe it needs some of the most Hulk-like attributes of the face to be changed so he looks less like someone tossed a cement truck all over hulk's face and it dried out on him and more like Callix...
Everything else looks amazing...

Not only is he in-freakin-credible, but I love the group shot! Have you thought about having a single thread with all of your custom works, including all the different shots of them, and maybe more?! I really wish the mods wouldn't have closed down my custom thread, where everybody showed off all their customs. I loved scrolling through that thread every once in a while.

EDIT:
I'm curious, about the sculpting material that you use. How does it harden? In the oven, or just over time or what? And also, is it solid enough that you can mess with his pose afterward, or do you have to handle it very carefully?

i wouldnt mind seeing him with a red logo on his body. would add great contrast and make the eyes pop.

He is awesome. The eyes look great, like glowing embers. I thought he looked too pale but in the group pics the colour is great. Well done
