That. Was. PERFECT.
I mean...really. There is so much funny packed into such a tight and well edited parody. I'm fairly certain that actual 80s toy commercial kids were Spector'd in for the job. They're great and the script captures the feel of classic ads so well. If this weren't a parody and it was filmed using a rocky landscape that's cooler than any of our actual backwayrd were as kids, this could practically pass for the real deal.
So funny. I LOVE that there's no attempt to hide Teela's duct taped wings. I LOVE that there's even a vintage Snake MAA figure in there. Dead of course, because another great thing is how this even follows the bios! This ad is now MY CANON. I've wanted CGM since he was revealed. Now I want him RIGHT NOW.
He made a GHOST pee himself. A GHOST. There was not a funnier figure to use for that. The sudden fire breath is so hilarious and awesome. PERFECT.
There is nothing I don't love about this.
I was impressed by the hi-bounce ball used by the teela-sorceress, just because I know those are hard to get.
..although a bit gorey and nialistic.

Dang son! Gotta be honest, I wasn't really liking CGM very much, but this commercial took my opinion and flipped it a complete 180 degrees. Now I love him! He is now in the same league as the indomitable Mo-Larr!

My feedback thread.
I think Daniel proved a very important point today. One of the main reasons some of us don't like some of the new concept figures or 30th Anniversary figures is because they weren't around back in the vintage era. But, with that 1 parody commercial using a custom vintage figure of a 30th Ann figure, you have captured the feel and the magic that we remember as kids when a commercial of a brand new MOTU figure was reveal. Awesome commercial. I think since your figure won, and Scott, Terry, and the 4 Horsemen were amongst the judges, you should make some custom vintage figures of their 30th Anniversary figures and film some more parody 80's MOTU TV ads. I wouldn't be surprised if Spector became a favorite of many after seeing you do a parody ad. Well done, my friend, well done.
