To answer your question, Scott, "where are you guys", there are a LOT of fans that are still waiting to be PAID before they can jump on Mattycollector and sub up. Some people only get paid MONTHLY. Some people only get paid SEASONALLY, and are on their computers with their budget spreadsheets right now, working furiously to be able to afford the 2013 sub. Don't be surprised if you see a last minute spike in sales next week. I just hope it's enough.

Downloading NOW! I am listening to this right away!

I'm guessing, based on the listed subjects, that my question or a similar one to it made it on the podcast, with the army builder and reduced day of sale stock being on the list.

    Thoughts as I listen...

Interesting thoughts on releasing the full list. I can definitely relate as far as legal having to clamp down on things because of a few litigious things. It's sad.

The plan for 2014 is VERY interesting. If they made all or most of the oversize quarterly items 2-packs that'd be an AMAZING way of getting a lot more figures out.

I still want my Kayo in 2015 or beyond.

I don't actually think the price increase for the figure or the shipping is all that bad really.

Problem for me and the reason I have quit the line is because

    1. Single figures are now over the UK customs threshold has has already been discussed multiple time
    2. If a figure goes missing in transit that is it, we can't get a replacement unless we have paid for the higher shipping.
    3. Early access for subscribers / less Day of Sale stock. For a cherry picker like me the chance that a figure I may want is going to be sold out before it is even made available just ruins the line for me

Even if an European distribution center is made I doubt I will return to the line. I am not going to say I hope the line ends or that it sucks or anything negative because it doesn't and I hope the line endures for those that are sticking with it. Personally tho I am done with the line and will just make do with the figures I have bought

Not done listening yet, but early on Scott mentions other fan reactions that he would like to see happen here.

Unfortunately his examples aren't reassuring as the ones he mentions Firefly and Enterprise, while they have devoted fan followings and uprisings, both shows were cancelled.

Toyguru said "Roboto's shoulders were my fault, Mattel design's fault". There he said it. Now maybe those people who were wishing he would say "my fault" to that every day of their lives can finally rest at ease, since it's so important to them. I feel like going to anti-troll the YouTube troll comments on his most recent video...especially since I am undermoderated on YouTube comments.

I know he says that there's nothing really going on with the movie at the moment, but I posted an audio interview in the movie forum dated the 11th July with producer Todd Black who is part of Escape Artists. They're making the MOTU movie along with Sony. In the interview he's asked about any upcoming projects and he mentions MOTU first. He also says that "We're about to set a big director on that" and that hopefully it will start shooting next year.

Pretty much, it’s likely they've already hired a director, but they just haven't made an official announcement yet. So, things seem to be further along than Scott is making out. Of course, I fully appreciate that he can't say anything about it. The movie is ticking, much more so than Scott will have you believe.

Based on his most recent answers on the matty forums, the things he suggested in this episode might not matter.
