A Quality Issue for King He-Man?

That looks really wrong, a sloppy design choice if it is intentional. His crown should be fully intact and not like it was bought at a Goodwill store. Appropriate battle damage would be scratches, dents and scuff marks all over his armor if their intent was to show battle wear. Besides this is King He-Man, as he would look any day of the week, royal and proper during his reign, and not have the look for one solitary day of battle. This should be fixed
The battle damage sword is one thing as it looks cool being brought out of retirement but not the crown. The sword shows how Adam never really learned that lesson his dad tried to teach him in MYP about polishing and sharpening your weapons

And in MY Canon, The Battle armor regenerates... Magically repairs all the damage done to it. Just like the original toy.

Lol. It's similiar in my own canon. Whatever damage/injury He-Man (or Adam) may taken on is instantly repaired when he transforms. But the battle armor imc is actually the power sword, which can take on this one other form (unlike the protection sword which can turn into many other things).

Idk how King Adam's character will perform imc yet. I gotta come up with an awesome story of how he got the scar.

I don't like the choice, if a damaged randor crown came with him, that would be an awesome accessory, but with his armour looking nice his crown should too. but that aside I like this figure more and more. Too bad Scott is telling the story as the bios never read the way I'd liek them too and most of his ideas I dont' like. Sorry to pre-emptively complain but when my imagination is sparked vs what Scott comes up with I'm always disappointed when i read what comes out.

is not Randor's crown. What happened to Randor's crown has yet to be revealed.

So, something happens to Randor's crown. I just left it alone after that. I prefer the crown have symmetry to the possible battle damages version.

IF it is intentional, it is odd, to say the least. I can totally understand the scar on King He-Man's face. But a damaged crown !? That's usually THE item kings want to be perfect, because it's the symbol of their royalty and power.

I don't know... He-man never struck me as THAT type of king. That's a very superficial attitude. GENERALLY adopted by 'mouthpiece' kings who rule from back lines.

He-man strikes me as a FRONT LINE king. Someone who rules based on the MERITS of all his documented achievements... Hd doesn't need a shiny crown to show his power... he shows that by lifting a mountain!

Besides... a well beaten crown shows stability. It shows a king who has withstood battles and wars and is still here. Not someone who tries to hide his well earned scars and nicks. If that's the crown he EARNED in glorious combat... I don't see him trading it in because it got a nick in it.

Still an odd design choice... but I can work with it in either way.

I agree with phantom1592…He-Man doesn't seem like the type of king that would rely on a crown as a symbol of his power. HE'S GOT THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL…no other symbol is needed. So I doubt he's all that concerned with how the crown looks. Everyone knows who he is. He's in the battles getting dirty and wounded with everyone else…NOT sitting back in Eternos with his feet kicked up.

He has scars on his face, and the sword is jacked up, it's intentional, because if you look the gold paint is covering the tip where the ball should be.

I for one even knowing all the BS he's supposed to go through, would rather have a clean looking figure instead of battle damaged.

I am cool with the battle damage. To me it makes me think of a King who wants to remind his people that they fought to be where they are now and they were victorious! Maybe someday he will have a new crown crafted, but a good King would be more concerned with rebuilding his peoples homes and lives after a terrible battle, than fixing his broken crown. Just my thoughts.

It makes no sense if the rest of the crown and/or armor show no signs of battle damage. It just looks sloppy this way. Maybe its to make it "pop". Cool right?!

If its supposed to be battle damaged they should have cuts in it or gouges in it. one little ornament isn't enough in my book to call it battle damage. oh well. I still really like this figure so I'll easily get over it (hopefully if we get him)
