I'd love to get some 87 movie figures.
So, according Scott on the August 7th video that since the 2013 Subs went through, that Matty will have some major surprises in store for us in 2013 and since then I had been thinking that since both Anthony DeLongis and Pons Marr had done videos "pleading" with fans to buy a sub, I've been thinking that might mean that Matty has the figure rights to the '87 film. Also I kind of hope we get King Miro.....=)
Any other guesses what these major surprises might be??

Yeah, after seeing the actors come out in support, getting a Classicized Movie He-Man, Teela, MAA, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and Sorceress would be cool next to Gwildor, Blade, and Saurod!
I am hoping for an all-new Weapons pack myself:
-Blast effects
-better-painted weapons (Stinkor)
-new weapons (Netossa's net, Starla's starfield, Jewelstar's jewel form, Spector's whip--not kidding on any of those)
-new heads (!!!)
-Battle Ram
-Power Con exclusive!
I really want some Filmation goodness. We have the rights and I want them to be utilized, but with the current situation, it seems they may not be used as much as I'd like. I want all factions/eras, but Filmation more so than others.
I think he is just hinting at weapons paks, diorama items. Maybe an extra figure or something.

As cool as they would be, I think it's probably too late to add movie-based figures to 2013 now (unless they were already in the pipeline).

In my humble opinion, I believe the surprise will be related to the New Live Action Movie. Maybe I have too much hope in this, but why not?
Personally I don't want `87 movie figures! I mean, the line is struggling as it is. You saw we came close to not even getting 2013 until we pulled together at the last moment. Will we get a 2014? We don't know. So WHY waste all the potential slots with something no more than variants?

Movie figures wouldn't be variants. They can only do Saurod, Blade, and Gwildor.
If they get the film rights to do the movie figures like the opening post stated, then they could do `87 He-Man, `87 Skeletor, `87 Evil-Lyn, etc Those are variants.Originally Posted by Hoffman

Couldn't have said it much better. You think you get people complaining about Filmation and Princess of Power, just wait until they announce '87 movie figures!
I'm hoping for:
*Great Rebellion 2-Pack Peekablue & Sweet Bee (squeezed in under the wire with our missing A-listers)
*Stridor & Night Stalker at the same time (promising sales as many collectors would want one for each of the two factions)

I'm hoping for another rigged fan-favorite figure that the subscribers get to "vote" on.
Yeah, I won't be too happy if we get movie figs of characters that we already have, taking up a monthly slot. I'm fine with Gwildor, Blade, and Saurod, since they were made in the vintage, but I really don't need a movie Evil Lyn, He-Man or Skeletor.
At this rate, the only major surprise that I would look forward tois correctly assembled figures all year!

The last time I read something about those mini masters, it was just before SDCC, and Toyguru said that they were not coming any time soon...What about those mini masters?
As far as the surprises are concerned, I think it might have something to do with more accessories (weapons ? second heads ?).
If these surprises were related to a better quality control and a better customer service, it would be greatly appreciated !
It's sad that "quality control" and "customer service" can become punchlines in a line where people are paying $20+ a figure.
I would love a Filmation sub or a movie 3-pack.
At this point with the increased cost of figures, I am not interested in these unless they are very affordable.
