Man oh man these are great! Wonderful job everyone! When I get a little more time I want to comment on each one, one by one, but congrats to everyone on some killer creativity!

lots of great entries: my vote goes to bearshow, but danbrenus, blastattak and prime also did an amazing job!

I love to STARE at Prime's concept. Think I'm finally inspired to get my behind into a college digtal painting class to learn some coloring techniques... I love it.

I also love Sllohcin's piece. It's just so well drawn and touches the original trapjaw to truly make him a zombie cyborg with the look of blood lust in his war cry.

Just awesome.

I went for the steam punk look with mine. I'm growing fond of that style of art and I have a lot to learn about it.

Its danbrenus for me....amazing and a figure I would buy multiples of. Lots of great designs but for me he nailed it perfectly!

My vote went to Prime.

Never really been 100% on board (hur hur) with the idea of Trapjaw as a pirate or as more of a zombie/cyborg. On the other hand, while the idea of re-imagining him as a dinosaur is AWESOME, I prefer him as just a cyborg criminal/merc.

I just really love the dark flavour of Prime's design. It's like a more Metal version of MOTU. It's totally kickdonkey!

My vote went to Blastattak based on the quality of the artwork. Absolutely superb! When it comes to the most creative re-design, I'd definitely give it to Danbrenus. A cybernetic T-Rex is beyond awesome!

I was really torn, but in the end, I had to throw my vote to danbrenus.

That T-Rex/Trap-Jaw mash-up is unbelievably cool, and it was a really gutsy move to go that far out, creatively, for a redesign challenge.

Everyone was great, though, and I'm glad we're getting so many entries.

But really, 282 views on the thread, but only 29 votes - c'mon people, vote !

Blastattack edged it out for me. It's the quality and detail that set it apart. I did love Prime's creative and decorative approach. Crusader's piece was haunting and kept luring me to stare. Pyre, I loved the goggles. I went for the same approach with mine. Though there were many creative piece, these few I thought were the best. Good work.

I love checking the thread to see how the votes are coming along, but man, all this great artwork is something to look at every time too.

Bearshow, you are truely a champion of MOTU art my friend. But I gotta say, I thought the polls would be closer with so much talent involved!

Prime, your talent shines te most to me... maybe that's because I'm jealous of your coloring skills. How did you create such an awesome piece? Any tips for us non-savvy color program users?

That's a good point dude. I kinda enjoyed the preliminary polls. It ads to the excitement of going to round 2 and voting on the winnersof the first round.

We just need to make sure we can keep these taleneted folks coming back to have tis many entries.

This was Super Hard to choose from. Ended up loving both Bearshow & Prime's versions. Epic redesign, guys. My vote went to prime this time though.
