I Like this character alot too--I'm going to paint him some more in darker colors to match my avatar--the colors as is are too flat
Now that I'm home and have him out of package I can say I am pleased with SLL. I do think that some metallic blue paint wash would really look great and his head is just a little to flat in paint too. The gem being translucent would be amazing too. He is good but I would have passed on the sword and shield for one more level of nice paint apps applied.

Patrick, the mace looks really cool. That pic's effects prove that the added paint apps would have been awesome, as it looks like they are there.

I got him today but I'm not warming up to him at all. It's just such a bland figure, even in hand.
Stings even more that I wasted 30 bucks on this since he was alone this month.
I will find it 30 shades of ironic if someday this figure ends up being the Modulok of his day, meaning a much beloved figure in the future whose original toy was pretty bland-sauce.

Also another thing I forgot to mention. Laser Lot has really sticky tight joints like Spikor did, through he didn't need anywhere as much snapping to get him fully articulated. (he even smelled like Spikor did when first opened) Seems like he's another character where he's cast in black plastic and painted all over.
He actually looks kind of cool posed with KG and He-Ro.
