Mini-comic MotU Classic customs

I am working on a few customs that are all from the mini-comics.

I'm not quite ready to show them off yet, but this is just a teaser to hopefully show waht I'm aiming for.

i was wondering how you put a regular left arm on tj's torso.

Nice catch CB. I took apart a skeletor shoulder for that added a marzo gaunlet and the skelly open hand.

just cut along the seems on it like this

I did the same thing to trapjaw and basically switced the pegs and shoulders

I'll save taht for the social group man, this threads all about the mini-comics!

PS: I just realized I need to fill in the gold on one of teela's arms, LOL
I am trying to get ahold on another teela head to modiify w/o the crown...and I may have a good base for her unicorn.

Best Trap Jaw EVER!!!

I want one so bad! (Though the only thing I've never like about his mini-comic design is the white on the boots. If I ever get one done, I'll just make it a lighter version of the boot color.)

That Teela is pretty awesome, too. I'd love to see an official two-pack like this!

That's awesome! I reall hope we get something like this in the DC comic packs. Well done! I've been waiting for someone to paint up Trappy like that.

Good times! Trap Jaw's silver jaw is my favorite part--REALLY makes it pop! I really hope he'll be in the next wave of DC vs 2 packs, and if they leave his legs how they are on his current Classics release I'd be OK with that.

I'm most likely going to but I'm still trying to figure out how to tackle the bandolier. who would you try to have him paired with.

red beast-man vs caucasion stratos is definately on the to do list, barbarian he-man with green goddess is another, (blue vest adam with red gloves zodac & i hope to somehow manage faker and bikini teela on the horizon for DC interpretations), mini-comics Trike is something I definately want to attempt as well.

I wish mattel would gamble just a bit more on MotU 2packs like these selling just as good as a MotU vs DC 2pack at retail.

I'm too lazy to actually paint then. I'd Photoshop them all.

You should try posing them with some of these. Pretty busy but hoping to get back into this project soon. Last night I made a mini Snake Mountain instruction book.
