Cthulor - Evil Being from the Deep!

Cthulor - Masters of the Universe Classics
This is a Mer-Man body with pants from the DC Unlimited Darkseid figure. The head is from a rubber octopus toy.

*I apologize in advance if any octopi, Mer-people, or other tentacled beings are offended by this custom.

Looks great, though some Draego-Man wings could have enhanced it.

    Red tanglor?

    Let's do this!

This has Kevin Kosse head, Demo-man shirt, armor & sword on a Geldor body. If I had any skill at taking these apart maybe monster feet would look nice too.

That looks awesome Is-Rael. I think it looks fine without monster feet.

Zargon I think you are right about the wings. However I have a personal bias against wings. They mean I can fit fewer figures in my limited space. Plus whenever I pick one up I forget it has wings (or a tail, etc.) and end up knocking down all the figures around it. So for me it all comes down to minimizing my own clumsiness!

Man, I heard that. Space is a big issue & all those extras sure do make displaying difficult.

Thanks guys! This is one of the side aspects of these figures that really makes them even more lovable.

as a HUGE Cthulhu (and general Lovecraft) fan, heck my username on the Playstation is Cthulhu82, I would just like to say

    THIS FREAKING ROCKS.

    I absolutely love it.

Just a thought. Make another one and paint his eyes yellow / golden and you can have "Kthanor" the good brother of Cthulor (Kthanid is the good brother of Cthulhu and apart from eye color they look pretty much identical)
Take a look at my attempts at coloring

and if you get the chance

Love it! I agree that wings would make it perfect, but I understand why you avoid them. But man...a figure like this with wings...I'd be throwing my cash at someone, begging to have it, lol. Nice work!

For Christmas I did something similar for a buddy of mine who's a big HP Lovecraft fan. But I didn't stick with the standard MOTUC buck...well...I went a bit bigger.

Mistico that looks great! Good idea to go large. How did you make that head? I may have to copy you since I have an extra Megator.

The head was made from some dollar store snakes for the tentacles, Megator's zombie head for base, and a plastic Easter egg for the back. Cut the small end of the egg open to fit around the back of the zombie head (hair removed, of course), then glued it to the back and the snakes to his face with Zap-A-Gap (model glue specific for plastics). Used hot glue to blend everything and give it texture over the dome & face. Some green spray paint, some black for shading, a little yellow for eyes, and done.
