My first custom created MOTUC characters: The Sinestra Sisters!

I've had this idea brewing in my head for some time now, but was only recently able to get the parts I needed.

A couple of disclaimers: I'm very much an amateur customizer, on top of being rusty. This is more of a fun hobby for me as opposed to something that is worthy of sale like some of the fantastic customizers here. Plus, my new camera is still not the best. Oh and the stupid date stamp was on and I didn't feel like retaking

That out of the way, may I present the Sinestra Sisters!

The heads are from WWE's Bella Twins. Turns out they fit perfectly on a MOTUC female, and the skin tone matched Catra. I did some very slight painting on the faces, darkened the lips, added dark mascara and gave them ice cold blue eyes to kind of make them look a bit more "evil".
Everything else is Catra. I painted the outfit mostly black leaving the bracers and boots as is. The black and red color suited the backstory I have for them. I tried to write it in the style of the MOTUC bios, and I will admit writing bios is tough. it ended up being much longer than a standard one.

I liked the idea of having some Horde badguys that serve Horde Prime. There's some potential for neat characters there I think.

Are those heads from the Mattel Bella Twins?

Yes they are, I was lucky enough to find a set last week at a local Target. They fit perfectly and the skin tone is a match for Catra. The heads are a little harder to get off than a MOTUC figure but it is the same general idea and hole size, just a tighter fit.

They give the feeling of being kinda like Horde Prime's deadly bodyguards or something, kinda like Royal guards, or "consiglieris" . They fit great with the whole horde motiff. Great job my friend!

A couple of new customs. One turned out well, the other.. well it is more of a learning experience

First up: King Hiss

I don't care for his "snake form", but it doesn't make sense (to me) for the leader of the Snake men to always look so human, so I made a new head. Simple job, I just took a spare head from the Snake men army builder, painted the eyes red and gave it a black paint wash to darken the color a bit. Then I gave him the original head's headpiece

The girls are cool. I like those heads. Makes me want to craft some girls myself with them (though probably not Horde. Would feel too much like snatching an idea.)

Hiss now looks more like King Pythos of the Reptons (Filmation)-- which isn't a bad thing. The Reptons were supposed to be the descendents of the Snake Men after all.
