Quick note: in person, the color of the heads don't seem too different, which is why i said you may be able to use them on any body just fine. But the lighting in the video really shows the difference between the two. So it may not work that well after all. Guess it all depends on the lighting.

Yea from the video it looked like the yellow head worked better on the orange body than the orange head on the yellow body.

Still, it is an option for even more snakemen!

I thought the yellow head looked good on the dark orange body..other, not so much. I think the figures would look better with glossier paint but they are amazing nonetheless.Love the reviews Dan,keep up the good work!

I'm definitely not a fan of them being called that, I think Veebs on the Fwoosh who did the 1st look has been using it though? I really don't want to think of Sesamee Street when it comes to MOTUC (But I guess we have a few "muppet heads" in the line ).

It's a fun and totally appropriate humorous appelation.




Fun review I'm loving these guys. But it's an expensive month (add to Power Con, and next month too... and December).
Not sure I will buy an extra this time... maybe if they go on sale.

The open-mouth orange head reminds me of MYP/200X Rattlor.

This army-builder set is certainly one of my most expected figures for 2012, along with the awesome Draego-Man !

Those guys look so cool to me that they don't look so much like snakemen "grunts", but so they can be almost considered as unique individual characters ! They're a must buy, IMO !

Now, I have one question an one remark for Pixel Dan :

Question: Pixel Dan, I noticed you didn't move the left arm of the snakeman who has the "pauldron/heart protection" armor piece... Does this armor piece hinder the articulation, or is it just fine ?

Remark : Pixel Dan, you stated that there's no visible black spot on your Snakemen warriors, which seems to imply that they were not cast in black plastic and painted over it... Well, bad news here : He-Bro posted a picture yesterday, and that pic clearly shows that at least the scaled, Rattlor-like snakeman has black plastic shoulders. This has been posted in the thread related to Toyguru's request about the black plastic issue. So I guess that there are AT LEAST parts that were cast in black plastic, with paint added over it...

Defiantly figures I had big hopes on getting in MOTUC. I'm glad that they came in 2012! I do however wish for one more two pack of snake men for more variety to the army.

I love those. Hopefully there will be a second set in the future with different colors OR at least include the awesome shoulder armor in another weapons pack. Make it happen Mattel!

I did not notice the snake head design of the weapons until you pointed it out, that is awesome!

Is the neck piece a new part or is it the same one used on Draego-Man? (Looks like the latter to me)
