This is incredible!!! WOW! I did not plan to buy the small version of CG but now I am tempted to do so!
These are exactly the characters that I voted for in the artwork for the large version of CG.
1. He-Man 2. Stratos 3. MAA 4. Teela 5. Zodac 6. Green Goddess 7. Skeletor 8. Beast Man 9. Mer Man ... only 10. Faker is missing from my list!
Not to mention I wanted Skeletor to be in a position similar to the vintage artwork just like it was now revealed. I also wanted to have green energy aura around the Goddess. The only thing I would change if I was such a great artist as Baena is that I would put Stratos flying in the air and I would put red energy aura around Zodac.

But still ...

The only thing that blows (imo), is that He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Beast Man and Mer-Man are probably sure winners for the Castle Grayskull box art vote. It'd be nice to get some variety, since they already appear on the Icon Heroes packaging.

. . . proof that had Mattel any sense at all, Nate would've been doing ALL of the packaging artwork on MOTUC from the get-go.

Absolutely amazing work, perfectly capturing the look and feel of the best MotU has to offer.

If only Motuc CG would be like this, proportion just like in the box art and 4 openable side..... I know it wasn't possible but personally I would have spent 600 USD for a thing like that!

I agree. That is better than the Classics Wind Raider box art!! And just as good as the 1980s Grayskull box art!

I love, love, love this art!! Let me say that if the Icon Heroes Castle Grayskull came with a poster of this box art, then I would buy it. For sure. I am blown away. And I am not easily pleased.

Impressive art work indeed, and that's how I was expecting MOTUC to look like (at least facade wise). Sadly it wasn't the case! I still like the 4hm design but not too impressed by it.
