    I almost hyperventilated when I saw Snake Mountain. It's a PERFECT combination of the classic toy and Filmation... THIS is how Mattel should handle an actual playset! Look at all those classic toy easter eggs in there! IT'S AMAZING!!!

    Its awesome man, I know from talking directly to AFX sales shortly after the Castle was released they were ecstatic at the sales and response so I am thrilled you got to do some more work and expand things for us

    Snake Mountain looks so great. Knew it was coming, but to actually see it... it's just perfect. So glad I have CG. Now I want Mini-Masters to put in front of it.

    The Snake Mountain statuette looks incredible. A shame that my budget can't work these statuettes in; they are incredibly cool!
    Classics TGR figures should be Filmation-based, but they NEED MORE COWBELL!

    It's a nice blend, but I wouldn't call it perfect. My choice would have been to sculpt the grinning face on the middle section and have the lava cascade fall out of its gaping mouth, while the shorter peak would have the wolfy head sculpted at the top.

    Anyway, just minor nitpicking. A Filmation-inspired Snake Mountain is a dream come true.

    I just love that! I like how its similar to what we used to see in the UK Ladybird books and the comics.

    WOW! Snake Mountain looks awesome! Can't wait to add it to my collection!
    In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
    Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
    Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
    In the bleak midwinter, long ago...
    ...a stable place sufficed.

    What can I give Him, poor as I am?
    If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
    If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
    Yet what can I give Him?....[I can] give my heart.

    Snake Mountain looks glorious. I love all the little faces in the rocks and the monsters crawling in the moat. Absolutely stunning pictures here: http://news.toyark.com/2013/07/18/sd...iornment-93271

    I agree 100%!! The vintage Snake Mountain is my favorite playset of all time and I love that this sculpture includes all the cool unique stuff from that playset. The giant evil face on the front, the wolf microphone, the wolf head on the gate and so much more.

    Hey Toyguru, please take note and make a possible MOTUC Snake Mountain just as awesome. This piece truly is the best of the vintage playset and FILMation combined!!

    This is really perfect - the general shape/layout of the Filmation Snake Mountain with some details from the vintage playset.

    I absolutely hated the Snake Mountain playset from the 80s, and this version just has too many of those elements brought in to it for me to like it. Grayskull is absolutely fantastic, but I'll pass on this.
