So my 3 sets are currently out for delivery. I should have them in hand within the hour. Now to make room for them!!

Pictures later on. But a few initial thoughts.

The snakeman with the rattlor body does indeed have some black plastic in places. However, the paint does not seem to come off when moved. Tight joints, I'm pleased.

Now for the lighter colored snakeman, all 3 have the Spikor/Vykron stuck right shoulder syndrome. Other than that, their fine.

Sure, I can do that when I get back home later on. I just remembered an additional issue. The snakeman with the kahn arms has the same inability to bend 90 degrees, however, it can't extend fully 180 either. This is true of all 3 I received.

I got mine yesterday and there is black plastic. There is even some blue paint on mine but overall they're still in good shape

They look wayyyy too similar in color . The orange one is basically just a slightly darker yellow now.

The Fwoosh pics show better colour contrast b/w the two. But seeing these pics, they look too similar when there's more than just the two.
Honestly, splitting the production run into two different sets would have helped this pak immensely. They likely would have sold equally, and maybe done better than they will with just the one set. Imagine another pak on sale, with a blue and black snakes, or something else? A lot more people would want to double up.

I double that, i was wondering why they toned down the bright colors in the first place. It´s MOTU bright colors are essential!

I'm not too bothered by the similarity in the colors because I think the main dudes such as Rattlor, Snake Face, and Tongue Lashor should stick out more with their brighter colors.

I noticed that when they were displayed at comic con. Just wasn't the same popping colors as the prototypes.One of the reasons I passed.

I agree. I don't have my snake warriors in hand yet, but I'm fine if they're colors are a bit toned down. I'd be fine if they were bright too, but a more dull similar color is also fine, because as you say, Kobra Khan and Rattlor will stand out even more.

I agree Thrawn. The main group will be more colourful than the foot soldiers.

And hey if you don't like their current colour scheme, move them around a bit and you'll have black snake men!

THe head colors of the heads look WAY off... can you please confirm this, or is it just the lighting in the photo?

I thought the exact same thing. Waaaay to similar, only getting my one set thru my sub now for sure. Still great figs, just no need for more. I really hope we see a repaint in the future.
