I would subscribe to those in a heartbeat
Would it be realistic for Mattel to offer a subscription for 6 more MOTUC mini comics? They could be packaged with 6 figures re-deco'd in mini comic colors such as Prince Adam, Trap Jaw, Stratos, Teela (blonde), and Beast Man. This would also be a good opportunity for Mattel to give us some new accessories. Mattel could even organize an effort on Kickstarter.com for this. There are already some great examples customizers have created to help illustrate the potential of these products.
I would subscribe to those in a heartbeat
"A knight is sworn to valor. His heart knows only virtue. His blade defends the helpless. His word speaks only truth. His wrath undoes the wicked."
While I'd be open to a few mini comic characters in the next two years (eg Prince Dakkon, Lodar, Rana, Queen of Kex...), I'd much prefer a Filmation mini sub in 2014 first.
10 Most needed items for MOTUC...
Heroic: King Miro / Hawke / Dakon / Delora
POP: King Micah / Twiggets 3 pack
Rock People: Granita
I want any subscriptions to be new characters. If they made this, I would get it out of completist mentality, but I'd prefer about a hundred other characters first.

Nah. I'd get a Filmation sub if there was the promise of more She-Ra characters, but that's it.
Most-wanted MOTUC: Granita - Hunga the Harpy - The Melog - Dylamug - Sprag, Sprocker and Spritina - the Twiggets - King Ahgo - Filmation Grizzlor, Mantenna, Leech, Modulok and Multi-Bot
Mmm, a sub of all variants isn't so much what I'd like to see now. I think it might go over well for collectors new to the line, maybe.
But I know I'd enjoy more a sub feature new characters from the minicomics. Lodar, Prince Dakon, Rana, Garn, King Hiss's slave girl, Haramesh, the Masks of Power Demons--all of those would be cooler to get IMO.

While neat, this is something that should be saved for like 2018. I liked a lot of the Toys'R'Us repaints, but they ultimately don't really serve much of a purpose. We already have these characters. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have the obscure NA figures first (like Kayo) than these mini-comic repaints.
I tend to agree. This is a pretty low priority to me unless some alternate venue like the TRU mutli-packs comes about.

Only the ones that COULD be used as "new" characters. The rest? Maybe as a non-sub item.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Crita is coming... Now I NEED SONGSTER! The Awesometastic Bard!
I'd prefer to see Filmation Hordak first to any variant from the mini comics before him. I wouldn't sub, because I don't care about the MC characters....but if it was comic non variants, I still wouldn't sub, but I could get behind it.
But I do consider the last 2 Vintage Skeletor / He-Man variants and Filmation Hordak, much more essential than MC variants.
Recent.... HATMOTU Skeletor
Wanted.... Filmation Mer-Man, Teela & Sorceress
Needed.... MOTUC Lord Masque
Oh man, did I forget to use these [sarcasm][/sarcasm] again? Sorry....
I would sub to mini comic color variants with new mini comics. Sounds like a great idea.

"Live the journey, for every destination is but a doorway to another."
I'd buy this sub as I do them all.
It would be cool if at least half the assortment were new characters though.
I'd be all over this, I have a massive soft spot for mini comic designs and characters.
