Toyguru, why have you abandoned the 'zig zag' orders thread??

Your last post on this was October 5th, more and more people are talking about their ig zag orders, I still haven't received my October figures, no doubt they are enroute from Sweden. I pre-ordered Grayskull, I subbed for 2013, why do my (and my fellow foreigners) concerns regarding shipping not matter? You started the thread and now you've abandoned it, we post questions on the matty board, on facebook and they go unanswered, yet we have responded to your requests time and again. why the silence??

This is RIDICULOUS. I get ground shipping from china faster than I get my matty orders.

I just send mail on the move an email as well

    "Hello,
I one of many fans from a website www.mattycollector.com where we purchase action figures from their website, it is shipped to us from Digital River who use you're service to ship out-Mail on the Move, for one year if not longer it has been taking about 5 weeks to ship an item from the US to Canada, many fans have noticed that we have Swedish Post marks on the package, Can you please advise why these items are being shipped to Sweden and then back to Canada, No one seems to want to answer this question so we are going to the source. Please advise. Thanks so much"

You speak truth. I've been having the same exact problem regarding zig zag shipping which is
odd considering that I live only 30 minutes away from where the Matty orders ship. My orders should
take only a single day to arrive upon shipping, but instead they zip right past me to Nevada then right
back to California which now seems to take nearly a week to arrive at my door. I shudder to think what
the international subscribers/buyers are going through.

That's why it's called Mail on the Move! It moves everywhere! Just not where it needs to go.

The Newgistics tracking for my combined subs this month (which have still not arrived) is giving me a 6 day delivery day window. 11/20-11/26.

Why doesn't it just say "we'll get to it when we get to it" instead? That's about the same thing.

I still don't have anything from October -- including my MOTU/Voltron subs and my 2 He-Man/Battle Cats from the Party Pack sale.

Because the answer probably has to do with the discounted price Mattel gets from the international carrier if the carrier is allowed to route the packages in bulk through one common route disregarding the penalty in delivery time incurred for the customer.

It may seem nonsensical, but it may be cheaper in fact to send a package together with several hundred other packages following a meandering bulk shipment route around half the world and back, than to go the shortest route for every individual package. The cheap international carrier (Mail on the Move) seems to have some kind of distribution hub in Sweden, so everything from Matty gets sent there in one cheapest go after the monthly sale (say, a single container chockful of Matty stuff), which then gets redistributed to different countries through the carrier's cheap bulk shipment routes to those countries.

The cheap intranational carrier (Newgistics) probably does something similar on a smaller scale within the United States, which would explain why packages get sent to Nevada before returning to California.

But of course, you may wait until the cows come home for TG to come here and tell us he has confirmed they're doing it to increase the profit margin on the S&H charges.

then why start the thread? just say hey, they ship in bulk to save money, it's out of my hands. he is good at passing the buck, it's ruben's fault, the horsemen, the fans, so why not blame DR for their shipping choices too? just man up and admit to truths. tired of this ****.

    Especially us Canadians BD....

If our stuff isn't going to Sweden, then our stuff must be doing the Nevada - California - Nevada two-step, continuous loop so many Americans are reporting. Only problem is we don't get the tracking info to prove it, but the fact it takes 6 weeks (and sometimes more) to get from California to Canada should be proof enough. Even stuff coming from China or Austrailia takes only 4 weeks tops.

This is ridiculous, almost two weeks for Dekker to get here and it skips to IN and then back to Coppell, TX every time.

I think this thread is useless. Toyguru hasn't replied back to this thread, nor has he answered any of the inquiries at the matty forum. In the meantime, our stuff are still being shipped to Sweden. There is no way packages take 6 weeks to arrive...not even surface mail take that long!

Got my November order on Dec 4th!! SO surprised! Also, no Sweden stamp/sticker this time.

I usually get them by the 17-25th of the next month.

Could be a sign of god things, maybe its been fixed

Anyone else get theres yet in Canada?
