After watching that Mattel panel, I really want to work at Mattel! Those guys are awesome, I bet it's a blast to work there. It also seems like they genuinely care about the products: how cool it looks, playability, appreciation for great sculpts, etc.

    Great panel!

I would have posted the audio of the panel for everyone but my recorder's memory card had an issue during the recording and since I was moderating it, I didn't see it occur.
Nobody filmed that panel???? Bummer!! A new She-Ra series would be AWESOME!!!! Evil Horde!!!!!!!! I will force my little girl (should be born this weekend) to watch every episode (Clockwork Orange style) if and when it comes out..... Just kidding as I'm sure she will love it and beg to watch it

Thanks PD for posting this, i wish Gary would be included with a future masters movie, he has alot of knowledge about the eternia universe still to this day. Everyone on the panel really conducted themselves very professionally. I love watching clips like these.

So glad that says Toyguru's favorite MOTU characters are Stonedar and Rokkon. I hope to see them soon, 2 pak or individually, don't matter to me.

i just wanted to take a moment here to extend a GIANT "thank you" and congratulations on another remarkably AWESOME con to: val, jon, danielle, rachel, karla, matt, dan, and everyone else involved! it was amazing to further the experience from last year with new guests, and meeting new fellow-fans, in addition to expanding prior relationships.
i am a power-con believer and lover, and likely "lifer!"
you guys did an amazing job again, and are to be extremely commended, and i want you to once again know and understand the appreciation we fans feel for the experiences you've made possible for us to have! thanks.
    highlights for me were:
jack and leslie wadsworth, all the kids! ("hi" gabriel, and michael!), the charity auction experience, the elephant bar dinner and afterparty, meeting daniel benedict and his girlfriend raven, getting to hold the eldor and darius prototypes and even the tony guerrero sculpt that pre-dates the horned-helmeted one seen in mattel's case last year!!!, the fountain of life and john carroll's good humour, and just the general positivity and excitement for our shared he-man love amongst all my fellow fans! good show everyone!

    Sword:That was neat to watch.

Jack Olesker:This was nice. it's nice to put a face and a voice to the posts.

    He-Mike:Those are some good customs.

I also saw the legends of toy design.

I like listening to the makers/designers of the vintage line. I like listening to all their stories.

I'd like to thank the guests of this year powercon. I'd like to thank them for going to the con. I'd like to thank them for their contribution to Masters mythos.

Saw TheShadow's earlier post, but I was just wondering if anyone out there filmed the She-Ra panel?

Big problem with filming the panels this year was that there were two panel rooms, each with a new panel every hour both days of the convention, and only me with my one camera there to film. I know some attendees and other press folks had their videos cameras in some panels, but for the most part, it was just me. And obviously I couldn't go to every panel. I didn't even make it to see the show floor until Sunday afternoon because I spent most of my time running between panel rooms.

So I missed a lot of them, unfortunately. Didn't get She-Ra, didn't get MYP, didn't get Power Tour, etc. I really wish i could have.

We already have plans to rectify this for next year. We should have a stationary camera in both panel rooms that will record each and every panel.

This is totally understandable and I am very pleased to hear that both panel rooms will be covered with their own recorder next year!!!! Great job on the ones you did + the walk through and other fun interviews you taped! It is VERY much appreciated by fans like myself that could not make it out this year!!!!!!!

I am thinking there won't be any left for matty unless they set some aside for matty. NYCC is vastly larger than Powercon and she sold out the first day of Powercon. The poor bird lady doesn't stand a chance in the big apple lol

    Jeeze...

I see all the awesomeness & am so glad everybody had a good time. I'm still so bummed that I couldn't make it. Had tickets & everything. Remember Cartman's reaction to seeing himself on "America's Stupidest Videos" on South Park Season 1, Ep:13? That was me when I realized I couldn't make it.

Still, thanks to everybody who posted pics, videos & to those telling of their experiences.
I love the fact that there's even a convention with a main focus on He-Man! I hope to see you folks next time!
