The box art for the re-release completely sucks compared to one released by BCI a few years back, which I still have. I mean how hard is it to use the actual He-Man and She-Ra logos on the cover?

Boo! No Xmas mini-comic? heh j/k

I wish Classic Media or Vivendi would finally explain what the 25th Anniversary mini-comic is all about.

Holy **** what an ugly box art

I know they cannot use things like BCI did, but holy cow that cannot be the best someone came up with. I think my nephew could design a more attractive box out of construction paper and markers

Its like they're not even trying...

Are you sure about that? ER owned every piece of art we created for packaging (with the exception of the art cards), so I'd assume Classic Media does as well.

Plus that's Emiliano's He-Man and She-Ra from our cover and the hat is taken off his inside image of Adam.

I knew about this about a couple of months ago and when I found out about it was over joyed to hear about it so that it will complete my collection which I also plan on buying the big boy pack of She-ra soon as I can get the money.

Wow. That's the ugliest box art I've ever seen.

Between this and the Nostalgia Critic's "review" of this, it's hard to even think of this special without breaking into spontaneous gigglefits.

I have a feeling even if a new movie comes out, the MOTU season sets will be in for a budget type re-release as well. I've been debating about rebuying MOTU if it all comes out at an affordable price to have a watching set and keeping the BCI set as more of a collectable. Hopefully, they won't be too crappy, though.

I'm in the same position with the She-ra box set that is coming out this yr as well. I really don't know if I am going to get it but then again I want it. The christmax movie yes I am buying with no problems cause I don't have it and really want it.

Boy I'm really liking my BCI version so much more. Oh well, the power is in the inside although this new cover is uglier than all hell. What a shame really.

I saw this at Best Buy today on an end cap with other holiday specials for only $4.99. I ended up getting the re-release on Amazon awhile back.

There's nothing wrong with the box art.

..It's no Star Wars Wookie Christmas though.
