I was just going through some of my old photos at my mothers the other day and came across this pic. I got my picture taken with She-ra at an old toystore called Playland at our local mall. Sorry the pic is crappy. Its an old polaroid. It was neat when companies used to do stuff like this. You hardly ever see anything like this anymore.

My aunt was working there at the time. She knew my sister and I were big fans. She called my mother and told us to get there in a hurry. Apparently they just showed up at the store, without any announcement of them coming. The pictures were free and we got small gift bags for free too. I can't quite remember what were in the bags though.

Cool pics. I'd liked to have seen He-Man or She-Ra characters like that as a kid.
I have to say I was pretty star struck. I couldn't believe I was meeting She-ra, but I remember being shocked because she wasn't blonde!
Great pic, and I agree. When I was a kid I had a photo taken with a Cylon Raider (the real ones from the late 70s) and like you I was awestruck. Yes, it is too bad things like this aren't done too much anymore because it really can leave such a positive impact on a youngster.
