If I'm honest, I don't think it will. One of the problems is the fan base is split on the version they prefer (some wanting Filmation, vintage toy, box art and hybrid of all 3) If the Classics version is completely based on the vintage toy I won't buy any. I'm guessing I'm not the only one either. Resellers won't jump on board as it's unlikely they would profit on such an expensive item. I can imagine some, like BBTS buying a few Castles incase the pre-order goes through as they might make something if they don't appear for day of sales.

But I do think it's a tall ask to sell as many Grayskulls as 2013 subs. Even without the division between the design, I think we'd still struggle. Fingers crossed though I'm proved wrong!

Independently of the version split, there's also the size split: there are many who just want a (relatively inexpensive, $100-$125 at the most) façade, and many others who don't care about the price as long as it is a full castle. Those happy with a compromise $200-$250 half-castle solution may not make up the majority.

I think this poll would be more informative if it included the option "0", to see what proportion of people will be passing for some reason or another, and even more informative if it included several "0" options to distinguish between the main reasons ("0 - too expensive, just need a façade", "0 - don't want a remake of every silly vintage prop", "0 - gimme Filmation, not Mark Taylor", "0 - want a full castle, not a clamshell", etc.).

I'll put in a pre-order for two. I've been undecided in the past but when i think about it, it'll be the last time i'll buy CG let alone a play set in this life time (of this magnitude) and i can't think of a better way to be going out with a bang!
