I would like to see a variant that is a new character, like the Goddess and Zodak. I think Venna could fall under that category, but if they have no plans or a Veena figure than I would like to see 200X Sorceress variant so I can have her stand in for Veena in my collection.

I doubt that. We're already getting a He-Man variant in King He-Man. I do expect a variant though. But who...I can't think of any character who is owed a "Battleground" version. Perhaps Battleground King Hsss or Buzz-Saw Hordak?

King He-Man doesn't count as a variant slot, so, he doesn't affect who comes out variant wise. And I see one of the Vintage coming....MOTU / POP / NA, not another BG variant.

I think it will be Flying Fists He-Man.

NA Skeletor....since he's mentioned in the comics now, and many of the MC story characters are coming or have come....Rattlor, TP He-Man, DB Skeletor, King Hiss, He-Ro, Tung Lashor is very likey to come soon too. I don't have a use for him, but he seems very likely.

I honestly don't see a need for Buzz Saw Hordak anytime soon, yes he was a Vintage variant, but I don't see many clamoring for him, and I'd much prefer a "Despondos" Hordak (Filmation) before BS Hordak.

I honestly don't see a need for Buzz Saw Hordak anytime soon, yes he was a Vintage variant, but I don't see many clamoring for him, and I'd much prefer a "Despondos" Hordak (Filmation) before BS Hordak.

I think it's because BS Hordak is basically regular Hordak with a Buzzsaw door in his chest. He's a straight action figure and this toyline doesn't have them. BS Hordak's chest might have a Buzzsaw inside, but it probably won't shoot out.

I get that he's in the Exclusive slot, not the Variant slot, but imagine the backlash of them doing two He-Man variants in one year. I just really can't see them doing that.

I still like the idea of them combining Filmation Hordak and Buzz-Saw Hordak. Make him blue, give him the the Buzz-Saw feature, give him swappable hands, and paint his head white.

The first thought was Squeeze containing two sets of arms, one set normal and one set elongated.

However, a safe hypothesis may be Mantenna. Those four legs will, perhaps, require more tooling and different packaging.

The BA Faker figure was released during SDCC 2011 in the two pack.

Battle Armor Faker is all parts reuse, just a regular Faker with recolored Battle Armor Skeletor Armor. So He's already been paid for with other figures.

That would be SO awesome.

As you pointed out, Octavia makes this an easy variant - and definitely desired as it's never been made before.

I do think it will be PoP - if not Force Captain Adora, perhaps Shower Power Catra or Starburst She-ra.

Any of those 3 would make me happy - but I think Force Captain Adora would get me most excited.

After watching the PowerCon walkthrough i got the feeling Hydron is coming this year so that (for me) rules out a NA variant. And i agree with above - 2 He-Men in the same year, unlikely. So I will go for... Emporor/God Skeletor to balance out king He-Man, either that or Blue Filmation Hordak.

Quarterly variants are never new characters, so Oo-Lar is out. As much as I want Snake Armor He-Man, there's no chance being that King He-Man is the Sub Bonus.

Actually, that only happened last year. We got BA Skeletor in 2011 and BA He-Man in 2010.
To be fair, we did get Preternia Disguise He-Man in 2011, so there is always ONE He-man variant a year, even if he doesn't match the Skeletor variant.

I agree. I guess we'll see NA He-Man in 2014 afterwards (either as a bonus figure or as an exclusive)

I don't think it will be a variant that has a "counterpart" as there is only one variant slot at the 25$ price tag. So it won't be NA Skeletor as there's no NA He-Man around the corner.
Therefore I'm guessing either some Filmation variant, or Oo-La, or some Hordak variant (Buzz Saw or Filmation)
