I'm enjoying the Beast Man and Evil-Lyn shots the best. Great work and thanks for the nightmares!![]()
After reading Marvel Zombies,DC's Blackest Night and seeing the pic of He-Man as a Zombie I had some vintage beater figures that were beyond repairing so I made them into a MOTU Version of a Zombie Universe:
This is the start of the Zombie Plague on a alternate Eternia in the middle of a war with the Snake Men,Horde,MOTU & Evil Warriors
Zombie Battle Cat
Zombie Beast Man
Zombie Buzz-Off
Zombie Camo Khan
Zombie Evil-Lyn
Zombie Fisto
Zombie He-Man
Zombie Hordak
Zombie Jitsu
Zombie King Randor
Zombie Kobra Khan
Zombie Man-At-Arms
Zombie Mantenna
Zombie Mer-Man
Zombie Moss Man
Zombie Ninjor
Zombie Orko
Zombie Ram Man
Zombie Rattlor
Zombie Snout Spout
Zombie Spikor
Zombie Stinkor
Zombie Stratos
Zombie Sy-Klone
Zombie Teela
Zombie Tri-Klops
Zombie Whiplash
Zombie Wun-Dar
I haven't had the time to finish these like I wanted but no feedback???

I think this is repulsive and gross, but likely close to what hollywood will do in a multi-million dollar movie.
I'm surprised with all of the vintage customizers on here and I am getting no comments from them..

Seeing zombie snout spout made me wonder if any one has done a steam punk version of him. I wish I could say more about your customs but the zombie epidemic in customizing does little for me. I enjoyed evil lynn the most.
If you ever have another beater ninjor I will happiy take the shirt.
As I have learned from my many years on the org, do not share your ideas (even if they are great) if you 'expect' to get positive feedback or in depth, lengthy discussion. You will be sadly disappointed at the level of apathy from many of the 'regular' posters.
That being said, while I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead, I don't get excited about zombie versions of other properties. Still, its an interesting use of gnarly old figures. Proper photography can really make a figure pop.
You may want to consider retaking your photos, and do not use the on camera flash. Instead, shoot them against rocks or other environments zombies may inhabit with a single hot light (a desk lamp is fine) at a high angle over the figure, or on 1 side. It will create proper shadows and perhaps flatter your work. Flash used improperly does not flatter figures.

This look can be created very easily, by placing a small LED light beneath your figure, and shooting up close. I hope you find someone with equal interest. You can also try popping off an arm or two and using clay to sculpt exposed bone.
