Time traveling He-Man

After return from Preternia, He-Man got the time traveling power from Blue Lion God of Eternia Central Tower and became Blue Lion warrior (Blue Lion He-Man). He has the blue mane on his shoulder as a symbol of power of the Blue Lion and sword of Grayskull is now able to open time portals.
Here are my custom of “Preternia Disguise He-Man” and "Blue Lion He-Man" which I made to fit my custom figure Vikor and some W.I.P. customs of King Grayskull and time traveling Keldor (which was the original idea for POG).

These are some great customs. The barefoot OoLar is just superb, really feeling the vintage vibe on him, like he would have been sold in stores. I'm really liking the Preternian Disguise He-Man too. Nice stuff!

I used dremel to "take off " boots and cuffs from the figure and make him barefoot (no sculpting and painting on his arms and legs). Now I should do the same thing with boots of another Taiwan He-Man figure to make custom based on the beautiful sculpture for early He-Man prototype by Tony Guerrero...something like e-man did:

First I cut off bigger parts (like fur on boots on He-Man figure) and then I am using dremel with those black rubber bits. I also use the lowest dremel speed for finishing. Here is the example what I've done with Teela figure which should become custom Sharella.

Verry clean custom and great sculpting. Also the dremmling is of a verry high standard even in all those tight little corners excellent work.
You have got a great eye for detail and I know you're a sucker for keeping them true to the original concepts and I for one like that.I'm not familiar with the BL He-man but I'll have a looks see afther seeing yours.

Blue Lion He-Man is just mine fan fiction, what would happened to He-Man if he got the power from Central Tower which is related to time traveling (based on minicomics) but also able to transform Hordak into Buzz-Saw Hordak (also based on minicomics)... As the Central Tower is represented by Blue Lion (probably some "Preternian god") so I came up with that idea of "Blue Lion He-Man"

...and some more W.I.P. photos of Sharella hair transplatation.

Since Tytus and Megator (vintage POG line) have rooted hair, why not Sharella...

These figures have production values that far surpass the originals. Very clean and seamless. The materials you are using just makes everything pop! I am in awe!

I am not trying to overdo the vintage figures... but I am choosing materials for customs based on vintage MOTU, POP and POG lines, not just MOTU. So if we consider all 3 lines as MOTU vintage, I am not doing anything that isn't already used in originals.

But there are some rules very obvious in all 3 vintage lines:

- Clean colors without shading

- Fabrics and elastics are used in MOTU, POP and POG:
Prince Adam, King Randor, Scare Glow, Ninjor, Laser Light Skeletor, He-Ro (prototype has fabrics cape with elastic)

- Never use more than 2 fabrics per figure. In MOTU only Scare Glow has combined 2 fabrics in his cape, others have only one. But in POP it is more common to use 2 fabrics and only if we count one of the Netossa's nets as third, then Netosa is exception for having 3 fabrics, and since I am considering artificial fur as fabric as well then "Ready In Red" (fantastic fashions) also has 3 fabrics.

- Artificial fur is used in MOTU and POP
Grizzlor, Loo-Kee, Enchanta, Catra, Scratchin' Sound Catra, Glory Bird and for two fantastic fashions : "Frosty Fur" and "Ready In Red"

- use of shiny (golden and silver) patterned foils and holographic stickers is present in almost every POP figure but also in MOTU as ornaments on King Randor's cape.

- holographic stickers are placed on weapons in POP:

- Metal chains are present in MOTU and POG:
Dragon Blaster Skeletor, Ninjor, Megator, Eternia (Viper Tower)

- Flocking was used in MOTU and POP: MossMan, Panthor and Cowl

- Rooted hair was used in POP and POG: Tytus, Megator, Clawdeen, all POP horses and all female POP figures.

- "jewels"/"stones" are used for POP (in almost all female figures) and POG (He-Ro staff has big spell stone)

I love the Blue Lion He-Man concept. Also I love that Preternia He-Man with the cloth outfit. Your customs are very VERY awesome!

Another update of Sherella...now I need to make bow and quiver...I have no idea how...at least quiver should be made of some interesting material since He-Ro's staff and Eldor book with real holograms suggest that POG accessories should be more complex then the most of MOTU accessories

I decided to create a new character for my POG display (some warrior from Sharella's tribe or so...)
I wanted barbarian looking black guy since there are only Clamp Champ and Netossa among vintage figures. As Grizzlor has artificial fur, mossman has moss like flocking, Giants and POP girls have rooted hair, I decided to give this guy realistic looking, rooted dreadlocks...
He isn't finished yet, but here are some Work In Progress photos:
