    Treegarr of Etheria!

I made a custom resin figure based on the Tree out of the Fright Zone. I thought as a kid it would have been great if he'd had legs so he could be used as another figure. This is what I came up with - rough paint job on this one but you get the idea

    Incredible, man!
He came out even better than I expected!
Oh, and @ Zargon- I happen to know that he's more in scale with vintage MOTU.

Thank you! The hands were by far the toughest bit. Re-did those a few times!

I will get some action shots with other figs up soon - the sculpt was built on an actual 80 s MOTU fig so it's head height with an original MOTU

That is an awesome character idea and nice sculpting!
A Fright Zone tree guy walking around is pretty creepy. What would his powers be?

    Verry cool idea and figure!.
I realy like that you've kept the twist waist (action) intact.
Also the sculpt and paintjob is excellent.

Beautifully sculpted! I can picture crows flying around him as Eternia's heroes struggle to turn back this towering menace!

Thank you! It took me so long it was more a case of sweat and hours than any sculpting talent per se but yeah, i'm happy with him!

Thank you! I haven't thought about his powers much yet. I've visualised swords bouncing off his impenetrable bark and him sing his arms as large bludgeons for repeatedly beating down groups of opponents. He can (the character not the toy), return to normal tree form to ambush the good guys.

Thank you very much! It took a few tries of using different base colors and I think the final product will be black plastic with brown shades on top. I kind of had no choice in the waist as the pressure pot I use is too small for a full length body mold. Worked out for the best though - I'm really proud of the joint mechanism I made for these.

Thanks! I kind of borrowed some of his look from the bashing block faces from Mariokart.

You know, I didnt even Google the existance of a tree action figure before he was all done unt8il after and there was Redwood. I gave this one a little more of a modern look so i wasn't upset to find him, but when i saw the thumbnail my heart sunk a little before i clicked it! :s

Wait... I remember Nightmare. I remember no one ever winning and the amazing opening credits. Maybe Treegarr was hidden in my subconscious somewhere - who was he?
