I think the Game is Classics inspired, which borrows from BOTH cartoons.

Besides, the game DOES have Filmation backgrounds too. Didn't you recognize that the Ice stage is from the second episode--the Crystal Sea, where the Oracle is?

Yeah, I noticed that that stage is Filmation style but the majority of the levels look more inspired by MYP, and that bums me out.

Groovy! I haven't been a video game player since the antediluvian days of Atari 2600 and Nintendo, but I HAVE to play this one.

absotively posilutly shnazzy reminds me of asterix and the secret mission combined with new super mario bros. is it wrong that after seeing these skeleton dudes my first thought was i wanted them as an army builder 2 pack?

It looks insane. Hopefully it will be on PSN. I love the character design and wouldn't mind a show with this style.

I'm a bit annoyed. I've been waiting for a MOTU game for years (a good one) and when the prospect of a new one comes along it's for a format that I will never get. I wonder if there's any chance of considering this title to be a PSN/Xbox-Live downloadable title?

The game looks fine enough. Kinda like Castlevania. The art style is a bit hit and miss, but generally not bad. Though I really would like to see a proper game, which to me should be a retail store release for the main consoles and PC and not be a simple 2D side scroller.

As much as we would all love to see a game on the scale of, oh say, God of War or some massive multi player, multi character dungeon crawler, its not going to happen.

Unless some talented, die-hard fan with 3D talent sits down and mods an existing game with MOTU skins, this is the best you are going to get. I would gladly help on such an endeavor, however all I would have to offer is opinion.

Wow, this looks soooooo much fun!!!! The characters are supposed to be in the Classics style, which I can see, but they remind me of the "mini-masters" figures!

Either way, it looks awesome!
