Why don't people like this?
Not a hat person?
It is a SnapBack so that can be a turn off.

To me it's simple. I'm glad they didn't overdue the hat such as put too much crap on it or put a giant picture of a MOTU character on it. Plus it'll be the only time we get one. All the other hats on ebay are too generic & cheap looking. Otherwise it has the vintage red color. Blue would have been good as well. I love the Masters of the Universe logo on the side. This logo is what did it for me. I do wish it was a fitted cap. They could have put He-Man's chest logo on the back in red. Would have been perfect.

I like it. More colors of hats to choose from would have been better, but I love the emblem on the side, and at least we're getting real merch besides figures. Simple and effective. I'm for it.

Yeah the price point is perfect. I actually thought it'd been $34.99. The hat is entirely ebroidered & by the looks it's at least triple stiched. You also get the embroidered MOTU patch. If it was fitted it'd be an easy $35-$40. Plus there are other places to buy the hat. If you have a Lids card you get 20% off.

I'm just picky when it comes to merchandise. Plus I have a problem when it comes to hats. My head is kinda big and whenever I find a hat I like it's either too tight or it won't go on my head. That's why I love my Adventure Time Finn hat because it's the only hat that not only fits me right, but also keeps my ears warm.

Well you are in luck b/c this is an adjustable hat.

I actually have the opposite issue in that most one size fits all hats are too big. I do wish it was fitted.

That hat is rather dorky looking.

I'm glad MOTU is branching out though. I wonder how a Masters of the Universe logo branched out on the front instead would look, perhaps with a different color arrangement (maybe all black).

The lettering seems to be the style for now, especially with some NBA and NFL caps I have seen. I for one, can not stand snap-back caps, but if I see this I may pick it up for my collection, but not to wear....

It's kind of cool. I see what they were going for. They were going for something more trendy. I guess I was expecting something more graphic like some of their Transformers caps where more character art is incorporated but in a graphic way.

I'm not too impressed.

I like the Skeletor one better than the He-Man one, but I hate snap-back hats.

Hopefully we'll get some fitted MOTU hats with some cool graphics like:

All black with Skeletor face and crossbones
All black with red Horde bat
All purple with Battle Armor Skeletor bat
All gray with Battle Armor He-Man symbol

There are lots of cool graphics and symbols from MOTU to make some amazing hats. That's what I was and am still hoping for.

Has anybody seen the New Era Skeletor winter hat? I saw one listed on eBay and I think it's much cooler than these dreadfully generic snap-backs.

these are really good ideas. I'm kind of a hat guy but this is a very easy pass for me, there's pretty much no creativity to this design, It's just a hat that says heman in some unknown font. Let's get some better designers for these and I will be more willing to purchase. I don't even know what the price is, but I wouldn't pay 5 dollars for this hat.

Nothing real special....yet. I'm sure there's a lot more cool hats coming soon from them. I love New Era, they're a hometown team for me.

This first one is pretty basic. I like that it has the "est. 1982" on there because I was also "est." in that year as well. Cool that it has the MOTUC logo on the side too. I prefer fitted over snapbacks but whatever, it's He-Man/MOTU and official New Era!!

I will definitely pick up the Skeletor winter hat from New Era, even though I've never liked those winter hats with the pom-pom thing on top. I just can't pass up the cool Skeletor graphic and the Havoc staff design. I haven't seen it on the New Era site, but one is listed on eBay.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the Skeletor one myself. I'll probably get them all eventually. I love my New Era.

Bought the hat today at Lids. Cheap too. Great material & the bill seems to be durable. Love it. Simple and easy hat. So glad there weren't some ugly graphics on it. And as with most MOTU t-shirts being black....which is terrible. I'm glad the hat is not black. That would be generic. I'm sure other hats and colors are on there way.

Yeah, I would not love a black hat, personally. However, I think they could do the graphics in a non-ugly way. LOL. I mean, I see what they are going for style-wise there. It's a subtle thing. I don't want them to look like they are for kids (which some of their stuff does) but if they went the bold graphic route or with some distressed or offset-printing look on the graphics you could make something cool with it.

I suspect they'll be building up the styles over time, too.
