Digital River Credit Card/Billing/Renewal/Subscription Issues

I also have this odd triple charge on my account.

Looks like they charged each item individually for me as well. MotUC figures were $23.86 x3 and the Black Lion was $76.91. That works out to be $10.89 in tax and $12.80 in shipping. Sounds about right. Pretty odd to do 4 pre-auths but as long as I'm not paying extra and there was no hitch in the get along, it works for me.

I was charged three times but 25 each. I only have two subs: MOTUC and MOTUC 30th anniversary. I'm assuming it's, 25 for each figure. As long as they all ship together and 'm not being charged extra I don't mind.

$25 is NOT the price of the figs for sub holders. So if that's what they are charging you per fig you're getting hosed

I got charged multiple times but they all add up to my one renewal cost so I am fine with it

Why is it so hard for DR to do things like most companies do?

Here's the breakdown for me:

October Club Eternia figure, Club Infinite Earths oversize figure
August Club Eternia figure
September Club Infinite Earths figure
September MOTUC 30th Anniversary figure

Everything that was a slip from another month was charged separately, but it's all shipping together so I'm not sweating it.

I got charged once for Frost and once for Rattlor. Everything adds up to the normal two figure shipment amount.

I had to change my card on the 1st so have had to deal with my subs being delcined. I had to call them up AGAIN to fix it. I better have my subs go through since I have had to deal with credit card issues two times now in the past week.

Two charges so far: One from yesterday, and another just trickled in a few minutes ago, totaling a little over $100. Is e-commerce really this hard?

i have 2 charges pending, one for around the $60 range yesterday, and one this morning for about $129. The second would be correct as I have the MOTU, 30th and DC subs. Of course no one has addressed the issue on the mattyforums even after being asked.

Same here. 3 separate charges, but it all adds up so not worried about it.

I got this same notice, too. Cy-Chop is shipping, but Frosta and Rattlor are still stuck... in Despondos?

It may be that they are doing this to make Frosta returns easier, but I can't help but feel that's giving DR a lot of credit for planning ahead, something no one has ever been able to accuse them of before. But it could cause the problem we saw with the separate charges for the Star Sisters; some banks apparently see multiple charges like this as a red flag for cc fruad. I know there are certain patterns of charges some banks look for to alert them to possible fraud, and this is evidently one of them. And refusal of a charge usually means spending the next month or two trying to get your sub re-instated...

Well I just got hit with another charge, the problem is that the second charge combined with the first one is over what they should've charged me by $60 bucks! GRRRRRRRRR

WTH goes on over there at DR? Why can't they get ANYTHING right?

What I've never understood is why they do the full amount as a pre-charge. I've seen other companies test the card with a 1 or 2 cent charge, but Matty is the only e-tailer I've dealt with that does this sort of thing every time.Is this normal for an etailer, or have I just been lucky?
