Oh my word, I just did a "mock order". The international shipping is pretty staggering. Am I prepared to pay £280 or so for a large toy? Really have to think about this one.......

$200 for international shipping? What in the world?

Without int'l orders, the preorder number isn't going to be met. If they didn't want to make it, they shouldn't have gotten everyone's hopes up.

Has anyone checked their cards to see how much the pre-authorization amount is really ringing up as? Is it really zero?

I still don't see a preorder on my Credit Card and it's been alomost 5 hours.

I called the DR USA Escalations Dept. Spoke to Devon and gave him my Order number. He said I do not see any preauthorization by DR for this item sir and by now we would have done this before completeing your order so Mattel must have it set up that the cost will be calculated but Credit Cards aren't getting authorized.

Some banks don't list $0 pre-authorizations. I'm not saying it went through, just mentioning the possibility.

Did you get an order conf from Digital River? If so, they you are all set. No need to be calling anyone.

You don't need to watch your card. It's done.

I am still debating, glad I have until Nov to decide....but I think the $200 will kill many overseas orders....I hope CG does well, I would love to see it, but I am not sure I can do it, both for room reasons, and for the price....$286.00 is a lot of dough, and it's $286 over my monthly budget....I know I will be selling off the sub items I don't want, but not sure it will reach $286 worth by then.
