Why isnt it coded to update as the orders come in? .... it's not that hard to do at all. Need a populated database and a little flash know-how and bam .... infographic that updates in real time ...... 2012 here people.

Seriously, I'm all about hating on Matty However, their shipping prices are usually spot on (now, their TIME in shipping is another story...)

I have shipped a TON of stuff international, and I can say that I will guarantee the CGs cost over $100 to ship. I shipped a 30"x16"x15" box from USA to Germany that weighed 10 pounds and it cost me something like $150.

I was charged $36 to ship TWO CGs and I think that is reasonable (Im in USA, of course)

I really do feel bad for international fans, as the shipping is a killer. However, when I order things from Japan I get his with similar shipping. It sucks, but it is just a sad fact of collecting. On these shipping costs, I just can't fault Matty. Go to USPS.com and you can estimate package costs. I think you will find their shipping is usually spot on.

Doesn't really matter who it is that's charging $100 for shipping, it doesn't make me any more able to afford it.

Is the goal meter ever gonna update?

As is the case with any meters Matty publishes these are manually updated as a gif/pic file (or so the legend goes)... so it's doubtful we'll see a real time meter moving along in concert with actual orders. Would be nice, but I don't think that's how it works.

And to those who are seeing wide swinging fluctuation prices in s/h... I wouldn't count on these as factual quotes. Most likely the amount will fluctuate some by 2013... simply thru inflation and other foreseen costs.

It will never go "live" it's not in any way an interactive meter of sales. It's simply a picture on a web page. So - at times - they will "draw" a new picture and upload it, but it will never be a truly interactive meter.

ok, I got an update on the pricing issue guys

....regarding the difference in order prices as I mentioned I was having.

I called them; I got the new english US based Customer Service group- which was very fast an helpful; and I asked about the price diffrence an they said there is currently a glitch in there system that is causing the price diffrence.
Now, she did not specify if the glitch was the previous price or the new price amounts. But she did say that everyone that had ordered the item would be contacted via the email on file with new information.

Oh, seems to be a plug-in issue with my browser. I go to mattycollector.com with both Safari and Chrome and I don't see that CG page-flipping effect. I go there with Firefox and I see it. Ok, sorry about that, I was wrong... THEY ARE making a huge deal about it.
