You bet we are! This is SO awesome!
Especially considering this line's humble origins and how far its come. Castle Grayskull!!!!...in a non-movie year at that! They said it couldnt happen but here we are!

And who knows...If they do this right (as they say they are going to) a couple years from now... we perhaps get a Snake Mountain as well!!! Ya never know!

But either way, for now...this is indeed a time for celebration throughout the MOTU-Verse!

Should I order a second one .Orgers?

I have a complete set of everything MIB (minus original King Randor). I'm planning on giving these to my son(s) [Only have one so far and he is 4 months old], when he gets older. The second one would be for him to play with. But I'm having a HARD time justifying giving a 5 year old a $300 toy.
The other options I'm considering are:
- buy a 200x CG MIB and give that to him
- buy 400 lbs of green legos and build a replica
- buy a used vintage CG to play with

What say you?

I'm in the same boat, my son is almost 1. I ordered one, and am considering a second. However, as long as he takes a liking to MOTU I plan to give him the MOTUC CG at age 5. The decision for a second would be for me to hold or turn for profit.

I think the 200x castle sucks, and I don't buy vintage stuff for personal reasons. I'm all about moving forward. I vote he gets the MOTUC CG! Its money better spent then on video game systems IMHO.

I actually had the original one growing up. It was hard to play with. It really is a GIANT in the toy world.

And Thank you Spitfire. I will probably order a second one for him.
And I still have my Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis for him. He will learn on those first before graduating to the big boy systems.

Well it looks like I ordered my 2nd castle grayskull. .When ordering CGM this morning I noticed castle grayskull was in my cart so I assumed since the preorder went through they were giving me the option to pay for it. .So I pulled up my order history and it was my 2nd purchase.. Looks like CGM will have to wait till December 2013 to make it in my household along with 2 giant castles. .! Oh well I actually wanted 2 in the first place. .Now comes the wait...

I ordered on 12th. I was in 2 minds if I wanted to start a MOTU collection. I already have enough money sunk in GI Joe, Transformers and Marvel collections. But I figured if it got made, I should get it.

I had exact the same in mind - BUT: i grabed a super cheap vintage one for him. it has it flaws, but its much cheaper to get the few missing parts, than any other option
in fact - we now have some Grayskulls in or family:
my complete vintage castle, one vintage and one 200X for my son - and in one year the classics Variant... this is getting out of hand

Well after months of consideration, I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered a Castle Grayskull. Can I afford it? Not really, though by time it comes I should hopefully be in a better position to afford it. And if I'm not by then, I may need it to cheer me up anyways lol.
