HOLY ******!!!! That was awesome!!! Hearing that voice again was fantastic!! Brian Dobson is Skeletor for me too. I just re-watched the 2002 series again last week with my kid. That series to me, is still the best. The 200X cartoon will stand the test of time. The Filmation cartoon is hard for me to get through. Happy just to hear Brian at it again.

I'm loving all the love that Brian Dobson's getting in here! It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who thought he was the best Skeletor. 200X gets glossed over a lot by some of the nostalgia that surrounds the Filmation series, but I thought most of what MYP and MVC did was just better than the old stories and even some of the performances. Alan Oppenheimer was a brilliant choice for Skeletor, and he really set a high standard, but Brian definitely built on that and made Skeletor more sinister like Langella's, by dropping the silliness that Alan had to do for the younger audience.

But before I derail my own thread... Yes, that's me in the mask, and I'm very proud of how this came out. Of course, I'm pretty critical of it, because I know it could've been better if I had more time (and fewer computer problems - Ugh!). The mask was designed to be glued to my face, but I had to just slip it on (which is why the jaw doesn't move as much as it should) over a very slippery spandex mask. I wanted to make Skeletor's eyes glow with After Effects, but I couldn't get it to recognize my original footage. And there was supposed to be music under the end credits. That said, I'm happy with the results, and maybe I'll have to do a 'Special Edition' later.

We're already really close to our goal on pre-sales (check out the METER!), so hopefully this video will help bump us over the top.

P.S.: Morningstar! I'm trying to get bigger, but it's hard for me to eat that much!!!

Wow! Super awesome all around!! Yeah, some glowing eyes and spooky music would have helped, but it was still good nonetheless. Cool costume and performance. I like the claws. That is such an awesome voice for Skeletor. MUCH better than Filmation version, IMHO.

Wow, hearing that voice and laugh again makes me wish for just one more MYP Masters episode, maybe a direct-to-video movie. Ah well.

Anyway, let's hope Skeletor can help push us over the edge!!

200x wasnt great, but my god was he the best. He actually took the 80's one and improved apoun it. Similar voice, just legit demonic. He should be the definitive Skeletor if a movie is made.
