If Battle Cat were a Transformer...

Hasbro has been putting out Beast Hunter versions of their Transformers Prime toys, and they just revealed some new ones. At first I thought the new Knockout was kind of a mess:

But, then I saw him in vehicle mode, and he looks a lot like Battle Cat!

Between the teeth, the maroon top, the green paint with yellow stripes, and even a tail, you have to wonder if this was just a coincidence, or if someone at Hasbro is MOTU-inspired.

That is pretty cool though. Seems too obvious to deny this guy's paint scheme is very influenced by Battle Cat!

Wow, that's pretty cool. It HAS to be based on Battle Cat. Green, yellow stripes, the red on top as the saddle and helmet, a tail, and even teeth!

I wonder if a certain someone was involved.

Battle Cat would be like Brawn or Warpath I would think....not Knock Out.

While the animal is more serpentine it's hard to say that the color scheme isn't Battle Cat in vehicle mode. In robot mode they use two different reds for example, but the use of the more maroon red.
