Motuc MARA from the new adventures of He-Man!

Hello my friends, this week here I wanted to show you my first ever New adventures of He-man figure: MARA!

With the announcement of NA He-man at Power-Con, I felt that the Galactic protectors needed more members and quickly started working on Mara. Her suit is a mix of the unreleased prototype, and the looks she had in the cartoon. She was made out of a Battleground Teela buck, She-ra gauntlets (the right one had to be modded since Mara uses asymmetrical bracelets) and resculpted Jewelstar boots. All the rest was sculpted using Aves apoxie sculpt. The lance was on my parts box but have no clue where it came from. One repack later and Mara is ready to join your Galactic protectors!

Excellently done! I hope I win her...but if not, I hope they do an official MOTUC release of her. Then they can reuse the Queen Marlena dress and do the few mods you did for clothes-swapping to make either Sebrian's Assistant Mara or Ambassador Mara.

Nice work! You got her looking really good! The sanded down right forearm looks excellent and I really like her headsculpt. Nice job on the matching skin color.

Wish you the best of luck Mistico! assistan Mara almost made the cut, but since this was the version that defeated Crita, I went for it.

Thanks yeah, it's always a pain to match that skin color, everytime my mix is about to run out I tremble!

That is an amazing figure! My only critique is that she has furry trunks, although I will admit that it works well and was a good part reuse for sure. The hair, outfit, just everything is great.

If you make a Crita I may have to sell a kidney.

I have 2 more on the workbench but honestly never thought Crita would be in such high demand. There are several versions, which one is the most popular?

Well she certainly is popular with me

But she does keep winning polls, and I think where Space Mutants are concerned that she is right behind Flogg in demand.

As far as version, there seems to be about a 50/50 split on the preferred version. I myself prefer the second "Queen" version that she wore in the latter part of the show (when Mara wore the outfit above). But I like the first version too.

With the changes to the roadmap and the focus on "essential" figures it really is not certain that she will make it into the line, so I imagine a custom would do well

Of course I'm biased

Oh yeah I was thinking on that version too. I made 2 more NA characters already, had I known I would have slotted her in. But I will definitely keep her in mind for the "second wave" Thanks!
