Since the original Sir Laser-Lot color scheme disappointed a lot of fans I made this thread to list all the alternative color schemes and parts.
Everytime you'll add your creation I'll update the first post so you don't have to look through 100 pages!

Amazing concepts. Just a simple belt feature makes such a difference to the look (which is better!) Wish these were sold as possible variants down the line or even as a tie-in to the Red Knight of PoP.

I like the royal guard colour scheme. Makes him out to be the first Man-At-Arms. The prototype for future generations.
Also liking the more armoured look using king hiss parts. Put those 2 ideas together... and he'd actually be a cool figure.

I'm definitely repainting my SLL in grey, similar to the one by Crusader and Irian, but the one by JoeyCruel has made me realize he would have been so much better as a Horde character.

It's my favorite color scheme! And as many said mixing these colors with the DJ Force idea and you'll got a stunnin' figure!
I don't like SLL but if it was like that I would bought it!

Any of these are an improvement on the original. Getting Sir Loser Lot has been a unique experience for me in that I dislike the figure even more now that he is in my collection. Usually, getting the figure in my hands has always improved my view. But not in this case. I HATE his color scheme. Any other combo of colors would have worked better.

I am surprised noone did the dark midnight armor to represent Bearshows awesome rendition of him. I think that would help separate the contrast better.

Why is it that there are so many people on this forum that can take the designs of these toys and punch them up to the next level, yet the professional toy designers seem to come up lacking? It seems like more often than not, there is this strange lack of desire to do more with the figures beyond their initial presentation. I know it's Geoff John's design, but I seriously doubt he would have been upset if they took his initial idea and pimped it out, so to speak.

Here is what I did with mine
MOTUC Sir Laser-Lot
Added a belt from Stratos and re-imagined the mask with a Marvel Select Ironman with Wings from She-ra and Roboto Face plate. As you can see from the pics the faceplate is articulated to reveal the face underneath.

Here's a few I did a while back, trying to de-superhero-ify the overall feel with some more muted tones:








And then my take on him as if made in translucent red (or GITD red!) plastic, making him a fully energy/laser based being wearing a magical containment suit of sorts, because as is, (and like Spector) he's not really "vintage ready" with an action feature or gimmick, so GITD would be about it.





Didn't want to change the overall design too much, but the fully-visored head is just NOT a MotU design trait whatsoever, so that had to go. And in my concept, the faceplate would flip up to reveal the face.
