Yeah these are pretty cool. Hope they use them for something though....like tshirts or prints to buy. Anything....
Hey...The Goddess is in the same pic as the Sorceress! And Ram Man is a core character!!! LOL!
Maybe these will be better received than the DC Comic redesigns...
Matt Moylan, Managing Editor of UDON Entertainment here. We actually produced this artwork for Mattel quite some time ago. Glad they finally found a place to show it off! Lots of huge MOTU fans at UDON (myself and UDON CEO, Erik Ko both have MOTUC subscriptions), so we were super excited to get to work on some official MOTU artwork.
The full artwork credits:
Line art by Joe Ng http://ngboy.deviantart.com/
Colors by Espen Grundetjern http://espeng.deviantart.com/
PS: I also did the flat colors on these myself to save Espen some time.... but also just to get to say I actually worked on some official MOTU artwork.
Looks cool. Really like Teela and Ram-Man.
I will NEVER believe that Mermista beheaded Mer-Man! You sit on a throne of lies.... and smell of beef and cheese, bio writer!!!!
Looks really good, everything is awesome the only 2 minor things is he-mans hair looks a bit odd and skeletor could look a little scarier but other then that for me this is really good.
Evil Army of the Horde!!
That`s art, that speaks MOTU to me...Keep it classic...
Also if we were working on this today, we would have given Sorceress multi-colored inside wing feathers to stay in line with the figure. At the time, MOTUC Sorceress didn't exist, so we had to imagine her classicized based on the vintage figure/filmation. Ditto with Ram Man.
Why does Matty's facebook say these are by Alan Lee?
These are some cool pics. I love them both. Too bad they aren't like order inserts or seomthing....
Really like these - nice shots of the main cast.
"That's very interesting...but silly."
Very cool pieces!! I would purchase these as prints or t-shirts!! More please
These are amazing, I wish those would have been covers for comic books or something, or just let Udon produce MOTU comics in general since I'm more or less indifferent/disappointed with DC's grimmdark hullabaloo . Also kudos for pulling off Teela in the cobra headdress, it's really hard to do that without making her look awkward LOL! Also why I love Earl Norem's work since he also managed to make it look good in that "Mask of Evil" cover from the 80s, can't say the same for the interior art however.
Visit my art page at: http://theblock.deviantart.com/ , if you like my work and have an account there to, feel free to fave or watch me, I could use the street cred !
My new chant: Lets go NA MARA, spike-flail pon-y-tail
Couldn't the current DC comics series look like this?!?! Beautiful art man...!
I've loved Joe Ng's work since Udon's Street Fighter series!
Nice I'm pretty familiar with Udon Studios and those guys are primarily Street Fighter related artists but I like the look as it may not be consider THE LOOK, but it's a new fresh take on it and the villains pic.... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE It!
'Tis the wind and nothing more.....
Sweet! I really like the heroes illustration!

These should be used for the 2013 MOTUC blister cards.
I'd love to see PoP, NA, and the Horde.
**Staunch FILMation lover!!! **** MUST have a New Adventures Subscription!!!**
