Who is your Figure of the Year?

Who would you choose as "figure of the year" for 2012?
We had a great year for MOTUC this time around. So...which release is your award winner?

I don't have him yet but I will be surprised if it's not granamyr. Just got rattlor and he's definitely up there, I'm blown away by how much better he is in person, but Draego-man and fisto are up there too, and Dekker (not in my possession yet) from the looks of things will be a huge win too. so hard to choose but again it's likely going to be the oldest and wisest of Dragons.

Yeah I think Granamyr will take the win when I get him.

But oh is Fisto so so cool! He is exactly what all MOTUC figures should be. Amazing sculpt, cool extra accessories (how awesome is the belt with pouch bottle and book!), two heads that both rock, nods to both the vintage and 200x in style and sculpt and swords. Finally getting the 200x amazing sword was a highlight of this years accessories for sure. He was and is such a well rounded and a perfectly executed figure!

You know what I changed my mind even as awesome as I assume Granamyr will be he loses to Fisto!

    FISTO for the win!

Definitely Fist or Kobra Khan. Think I'll have to go with Fisto. Amazing sculpt, two heads, lots of accessories including 200x options, and we finally go that amazing, sweet ass 200x sword of his

    Fisto, hands down!

He came with enough variety to make either his 200X version OR his vintage look and some fans brought two to display both. There is a reason why Mattel is totally out of Fisto figures. I would have hoped that Mattel would have learned from that with Rattlor.

I voted Castle Grayskullman just because of that instant connection to my favorite playset. Other than him, Fisto or Kobra Khan.

Kobra Khan for me. A perfect translation of the vintage with slight improvement touches (alternate head, lizard creature) that make him that much better. I can't say anything about the December figures because I don't have them in hand but if there is nothing wrong, Granamyr is also a very strong contender for that title.

I have to go Rattlor, with Fisto coming in a very close second.

Shouldn't we wait to vote until all the figures come out?

So many great ones this year that I really enjoy...Fisto, Sorceress (Both versions), Snake MAA, Snake Men, Sir Laser-Lot, Cy-Chop, Castle Grayskullman, Dekker. But I had to go with Mekaneck. It was a long wait for this guy, he's perfect and just cool in every way.

I'm certain Fisto will win this poll though, and he's worthy.

To me it is Fisto. His head sculpt is the best of the whole line and, thanks to all his accessories, he gives you the option to build your own ultimate Fisto, no matter if you are a fan of the vintage style or 200X.

Fisto is what MOTUC is all about.
Maybe Marzo as an archenemy was the biggest thing to happen to Mekaneck, but as far as Marzo was concerned...it was Tuesday.

Right now I'm at a crossroads with four:

Fisto, Draego Man, Slush Head & Mosquitor (though we haven't got him yet) but I trying to break it down from these 3 right now....

No surprise here, but Cy-Chop for me. Such an awesome 80's looking character, but brand new in 2012.

Draego-Man and Fisto are BY FAR the best figures this year!
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

It matters not how strait the gate,

    Dekker

So far it's the Master-At-Arms just because he was unexpected awesomeness. Being he was only in one 200X episode, he seems like to small a role to have gotten a figure-- but that's the greatness of this line to me. Greatly-designed, imaginative characters I thought I'd never have- turned into action figures.

Fisto is a close second. He lost only due to Dekker's surprise factor. I haven't officially voted yet because I like to make sure that all the candidates are accounted for before making the decision.

    Fisto! Fisto! Fist-Fist-Fist-FISTO!

Sorceress is quite a very close second.

I almost can't choose just one! I have loved more than 3/4s of these figures. Doesn't help that some of them are visiting me in the hospital to alleviate boredom. Hard not to have them "chime in" on the matter.

Man-E votes for Mekaneck and reminds me of how I worried that they wouldn't get to him.

Stinkor votes for himself and his awesome odor.

I really loved the Gryphon (don't like the odd spelling tho) and am considering picking up another as the first one got hijacked from Beastman by Sir Laserlot. The good Sir looks a lot better as a cavalier than afoot.

But... I waited for the Star Sisters a long long time. Even with their flaws I can honestly say I was excited to have them in my hands-- actually a lot like getting the 1st motuc She-Ra. Her skirt and a few other things still bother me but that's okay. I love her anyway. I am glad to have these ladies at last.
    Signed by-- ME!

Did I ever grow up? Probably not. I'm sure the day-glo socks gave it away anyway.

Very tough call here. I went with Mosquitor as he has been my most wanted for ages. I think the 4H did a great job with him, despite the lack of liquid blood in the chest. Still amazing!!

My runners up would be Draego Man and CG Man. Khan, Weaver, and Fisto are up there too. Overall, 2012 was a GREAT year for MOTUC's!!!
