"That's very interesting...but silly." - Man-At-Arms
Just bought it. Not my usual genre - but it sounds interesting, I like the cover, and I'm a fan of supporting fellow orgers.
I'll try to get to it in the next week or so and let you know what I think.
Congrats!
Thanks for checking it out guys.
I really appreciate it.
BCI Guy - I'd love to know what you think - warts and all.
I was really happy with the way the cover turned out. I did the design, and I got a talented friend to do a rendering of the device based on a sketch and the description in the book. He's off to work in Hollywood now, so I got in there before he got too insanely busy.![]()
Rob Kerr- 1979-2006. I will always love you.

Did I ever grow up? Probably not. I'm sure the day-glo socks gave it away anyway.![]()
I would buy a copy, but it'd just end up sitting around untouched like my books usually do, until it gets lost or donated to the library. Only books I've read in recent memory have been Chilton auto repair books. I'm sure it's a worthy read, I just lost interest in books long ago or I'd buy a copy.
I used to have my own ideas of being a writer but all I ever churned out was garbage that annoyed almost everyone who read it. Now, I hate that stuff so much I don't want anyone to even be able to read it and have started denying I ever wrote it. I haven't written anything in almost 2 years but I can't say I miss it. None of my ideas are marketable.
Thanks for checking it out, all!
diosoth - I can understand going through a period of reading less. I used to be a voracious reader as a kid, but it sort of was hit and miss. I am reading more now. But it's hard to imagine giving up on books for good!
