Who are the ESSENTIAL Filmation characters for your collection?

Now that we're heading towards the All-Star Years, I thought I'd start a poll to assess who everyone feels are the essential Filmation characters for MOTUC. (I haven't included Jetlag because Crita and Mara always seem to wipe the floor with everyone else - while there's a lot more variety in Filmation).

The poll is MULTIPLE-CHOICE but please try and limit your choices to EIGHT. I know it'll be tempting for some to tick everyone because we all want the line to go on forever, but that's not the point.

With Shadow Weaver, Fang Man and Octavia out of the picture, I've selected characters from He-Man and She-Ra who get a lot of mentions and some who don't (but it'll be interesting to see their popularity). Let's use this poll to start a dialogue with the folks at Mattel - who are we *desperate* for?

I've added an 'Other' button in case there's a character who you REALLY want that isn't on the list. But it's got to be a BIG want. Please post who they are.

I've also left out Evilseed and King Miro because they will probably make use of their 200X look if made and hopefully have interchangeable features to make their Filmation looks too, Filmation Hordak because he'd be a variant and multi-pack/army-builder characters like the Widgets, Twiggets and Skeletor's Hover Robots.

My vote for Other is for the Star Child, Ariel (Casta's apprentice) and Kothos.

Kothos and the Enchantress would be awesome.

Enchantress could re-use the outfit from the Sorceress, the boots from
Frosta (not exact but close enough), and BG Evil-Lyn's cape.

I'm actually good with what we have in the line, I love Filmation, but I don't need any non essential or one off characters unless they played a vital role, like Sea Hawk & Shadow Weaver....

What I would like are Filmation variants of MAA & Skeletor and Heads for He-Man, Ram-Man & Mer-Man.

But....that all being said, I only would like to see....

Well these are my MUST HAVES:

Madame Razz & Broom
Sea Hawk
Scorpia

But I also voted for:

Huntara, King Ahgo, Shokoti, Batros - not as important as the trio (and Broom), but still wanted.

I'd be happy to get: Imp, Hunga the Harpy, Lord Masque, Vultak, Dylamug, General Sunder, Melaktha, Uncle Montork, and Dree-Elle. But they aren't as essential to me as the characters I voted for.

Intentionally I left the 8th choice blank, so I could choose an Other, but I can't decide between Red Knight or Chef Allen. I want 'em both. :P

I feel certain that Imp cold be packed in with another character so I wish I would have went ahead and chose 9 characters because I don't think he should really count as one full choice. Though the choice between Icer, Vultak and Dylamug would have been tough...

I voted "Other" as in None. I don't think any Filmation character is "essential" to my collection. Sure, I'd like to have Shokoti, Masque and various other bad guys but essential? Nah.

This is a very good point mate. If I were to look at it from this point of view (which is actually what this thread asks you to do) then the only one I would vote for is Scorpia, the rest of the one's I put in my last post are actually just 'who I would like' or 'would be nice in my collection', but essential, far from it.

Reading at this poll is both cool and painful: So many great characters to make...

And still, it's highly unlikely that we will get half of them!

I so wish to see Scorpia, Lizard Man, Granita, Imp, Madame Razz, Sea Hawk or Icer in MOTUC at some point.

Many others too. I like variety. I don't care if they were only on screen 5 seconds, I mean it's not like they were born right before the camera went on them & died immediately after it went off. They have lives and history. Who are they? Why are they here? Where are they going now? I need characters like this so I can fill out my canon.

I only skipped Garth, Ahgo, Nepthu and Vultak (though he was close).

I really, really want Montork, Dree Elle, Shokoti, Razz & Broom, Seahawk, and Icer.

I should've selected other too: I'd love Yukkers and Sorrowful!!!
