If they send everyone the same thing this won't be much of a thread and the other one probably won't ever exist, but here's hoping for some variety....

Just so I'll know if I need to be ready to be envied and or hated, what figures are considered to be rare and/or in demand. I really haven't paid attention to that aspect of this. If any folks wanna chime in to let me know what figures are HTF/ID please feel free. Sadly I've still got at least 3 or 4 days to see what I get anyway.
Teela is for sure. Beastman is up there. Outside of that it gets more personal, where the figures aren't necessarily hard to find or overly expensive at the cost of 30-40 unshipped. The last tier has figures like Carnivus, Stratos, Buzz-off which are more just easy to get because they have had quite a few repeat resells recently.
Con exclusives like He-ro etc would be worth more. Newer figures tend to be not as in demand. Most figures are in the 20-40 dollar range on places like ebay, a slightly cheaper here because it's fan's helping fans type of thing. The reason you see a lot of holes in collections from newer collectors is more because people have their price points on the figures and don't want to go over that. Or didn't have money or were online when the figures went on flash. Me for example I wouldn't mind a Man At Arms, but I am not paying 30 bucks for him then shipping, and the flash sale I had already spent enough at the time. But anything else I would say is already in the market place.

I seem to have lucked out in some respects. I guess when they were originally released I was good at plucking some of the older ones. I know I have 2 Teelas (1 moc 1 loose) 2 Mer-Men, 3 Stratos, 2 Fakers, 2 M-A-A, 2 Webstors, and maybe 2 Zodacs. I was a lucky one for sure back in the page refreshing waiting line days I guess.

Mine is on the way. I will laugh so hard if I get Mer Man. Back when he originally went on sale I was one of the customers that suffered from the website screw up and ended up with 3 Mer Man figures due to error. I of course had to pay for them. I opened one and just kept the others on card figuring I could customize or sell later. Mer Man is definitely not a figure I need another of.
So you know what that means? I am sure that is who I will get!
The ones I would not mind getting more of are
Teela (doubtful)
Moss Man (Only to keep MOC in mailer to preserve that pine fresh smell lol)
Kobra Khan (doubtful)
Beastman (doubtful)
Snout Spout (Just in case my current one has trunk issues in the future.)
Other than those any other extra figure will be stored with my other not needed extras. Regardless it is a free gift and I appreciate that at least.

DR probably just has pallets of figures and they are being added to the packages in order. 1st wave appears to be Mer-man, 2nd wave will be ??? and so on.
I'm assuming this will be the end of all their Merman stock.

I got a Merman as well. Bummer that I already had an extra Merman, but I'm certainly not complaining about getting free figures. He can either be trade bait or custom fodder.
