    Happy Birthday to Me (aka The World Didn't End. LOL.)

    Well, the world didn't end as "predicted", so I am going to wish myself a Happy 36th Birthday and hope you will do the same.

    Today I plan to see "The Hobbit" and maybe "Jack Reacher". Then I will go out to eat, but I am not sure what I am in the mood for yet. Any suggestions?

    A very happy and blessed birthday to you! Enjoy the Hobbit, have a great birthday meal, and watch out for zombies.

    Anyways, I would suggest either before or after the Hobbit, go try the Denny's Hobbit menu. I don't think I have ever been to a Denny's but my wife and I went prior to seeing the movie last Friday. Loved it! The food was really good and really Hobbity.

    Happy B-Day man! As for the pop-culture built apocolypse, well, I guess it's time to find the next date and wait for that one to pass as well! How many have we passed so far, anyway? I know there was a random one last year as well, and heck, I might as well count Y2K also. So many apocoplypses to keep track of! Personally I like the X-Men one; he's pretty slick.

    Thanks everyone. You have all helped make this day great. Went to see "The Hobbit" and "Jack Reacher", which were both great movies. Then went to eat at Chili's (though I was only able to eat 1 bite of ribs and 1 bite of mashed potatoes). Now time to visit the in-laws and eat ice cream and cake.
